Cold Hands

Chapter 7: Too Late.

Blaise ran out of the astronomy room, like the coward he was. 

"I'm not done yet you pervert!" Luna screamed following him, and leaving you alone.

You sighed as you sat on the floor. You had always loved how the huge windows that covered the walls and ceiling gave you access to the night sky. 

You laid on your back, facing the bright stars.

There was no way in hell you were going to fall asleep, so you decided to go on your phone.

Oh merlin.

Your eyes widened as you saw that Draco had sent you 12 messages.

"Why do i even have this boy's number in my phone.." You groaned, opening the chat.

Draco.

Y/n where are you?

What's going on?

Did he hurt you?

Damn it answer me.

You quickly shut your phone off. 

Why was he acting like he cared about you? He's the one who fed into Blaise's lies. You would never forgive him. Ever.

Draco's POV:

I ran through the halls like a maniac. I checked my phone once more, looking at the chat between me and Y/n.

READ 7:58 PM

I was about to write down another message when I heard someone running my way. 

"Y/n!" My head shot up, but i stopped in my tracks.

That bastard. I'm going to kill him.

"Oh thank god! Malfoy you gotta help me! She's after me and she's gonna-" Blaise ran up to me, out of breath and glancing behind him every two seconds.

"Y/n's chasing you?" I stared at him. 

"What? No! Luna, she's coming for me!" He shook my shoulders hard and i pushed him away.

"Where is Y/n? What did you do to them?!" I pulled my wand from my pocket, threatening him.

He just shook his head, confused.

"In the astronomy tower- Hey what's the big deal? She's gonna kill me!" He grabbed my shoulders again. His voice was desperate, just like in the video.

"I hope she does."  I snapped, pushing past him.

I saw Luna turn a corner, running. She looked very determined and i definitely was not going to get in her way.

Your POV:

You felt yourself drift off to sleep once again, but before you could be engulfed by it, someone aggressively opened the door. 

"Oh my god! I was too late!" Draco's loud voice echoed through the large room.

You felt him fall by your side, and pull you to his chest.

"Y/n.. Please don't leave me." His voice sounded so broken..

"Uh.. Draco?" you moved your head to look at him. He was holding you so tight you could hardly get any air. "I can't breathe-" 

He stared at you in shock and quickly dropped you. He pushed himself as far away from you could.

"What are you going on about?" You questioned, rubbing your eyes.

"What the hell.. What the hell are you doing?" He yelled. His face was obviously red.

"Well i WAS trying to sleep."

"On the floor?"

You rolled your eyes and laid back down, turning your back to him.

It was quiet for a while, until you heard shuffling. Thinking he had left, you rolled around to face where he had been.

You parted your lips slightly, shocked.

Draco laid next to you, staring at the stars.

"I told you to stay away from him." Draco turned his head, looking at you.

"Right. Like you knew he was going to do that. You don't always have to be right." He was really starting to piss you off again.

"Well maybe if you actually listened to someone other then yourself, you wouldn't be in these situations." He sat up, still staring at you.

You sat up as well, challenging him.

"I can't stand you, you know that? All you have to say is crap about everyone else, but when someone finally fights back, suddenly it's the end of the world." You glared at him. You didn't mean to snap like that... But it was his fault. 

He stayed quiet.

"I know you put on this act to push people away. It's bloody annoying! You act like your life is shit, when in reality people have it so much worse than you. You can't just-" He cut you off by grabbing your face with his hands.

"Just shut up already." He whispered harshly.

Before you could respond, he pulled you in.

His lips smashed into yours.

You didn't bother pushing him away.
