"Look Ma! That castle is huge!", Kazumi said as he looked out the window, peering at what will soon be his new home.

"Y-yeah, it's really nice...", Izuku said subtly.

As they made their way through the Druine kingdom streets, growing closer and closer to the palace doors, Izuku was a nervous wreck. He was breaking out into a cold sweat, continuously fiddling with his fingers, and on top of his exhaustion from the previous nights, his anxiety was past measurable heights.

Katsuki was sitting next to his son but his mate's distress was his current priority. Their child isn't able to sense the sour scent filling the carriage, but Katsuki was constantly looking at his mate. Everything in his being was telling him to comfort his mate, but that would only add to his anxiety as Kazumi would grow worried for his mother, adding more stress on Izuku to act normal when all he really wanted to do was be left alone to calm himself down.

Izuku flinched when he heard Iida command the on duty guards to open the palace gates to let the royal carriage in.

"Pa, how come they're letting us in the castle?"

"Well son, this is going to be your new home", Katsuki said with a smile as he ruffled his son's hair.

"No way! We get to live here Ma!?", Kazumi asked as he now sat next to his mother while he continued to look out the window.

"Yes...", Izuku replied, only sinking further into his seat.

The carriage stopped and Kirishima opened the door for the royal family to exit the carriage.

Katsuki got out first as he held put his hand for his son. Kazumi ran straight for the wide green ... but Izuku stayed inside the carriage.

"Deku, are you okay?", Katsuki asked as he had Kirishima and Iida follow Kazumi, leaving him and Izuku alone. Izuku shook his head violently as tears began to pour down.

"I can't do this..."

"Hey...", Katsuki said as he re-entered the carriage, closing the door behind him and hugged his sobbing mate as he ran his hand through his soft green curls, "...I'm right here with you."

"*sniffle* Kacchan, after everything that's happened, I don't know what I'd do if your parents don't accept our son into the family ... or if they'll force me to leave again*sniffle*"

"Deku, I know you're scared and all your feelings are valid, but there is no way in hell that any of that is going to happen, alright!? I'm the king and you're my queen. No one has the right to say otherwise unless they want to be fed to the fucking wolves", Katsuki said, earning a small chuckle from Izuku.

Izuku wiped away his tears with his sleeves and took a deep breathe in.

"Promise me that you won't let anything bad happen to Kazumi?"

"I swear on my life that I won't let anything happen to you, or our son", Katsuki said as he rested his forehead against Izuku's, the two staring into each other's eyes searching for affirmation.

"*sigh* Alright ... let's go in", Izuku said with a small smile.

Katsuki got out of the carriage and held out his hand to Izuku to help him down. Izuku refused to let go of his mate's hand as he continued to stare towards the ground. Katsuki felt the omega tremble in his grasp so he tightened his grip on Izuku's hand and gave him a reassuring nod.

"Oi! Kazumi! Come here!", Katsuki called out to his son who was running around the yard; Kazumi ran towards his parents.

"Come on, let's go inside", Katsuki said as he reached down for his son and carried him along his hip; his mate in one hand and his son in the other.
