Hanabi swears she shouldn’t feel this way. She would tell herself countless times that this feeling shouldn’t be here in the first place, it’s an error, a mistake, or whatever you call it.
But here she is lying on the cool soft grass, her rival beside her just as out of breath as she is.
It became their ritual, that every end of their training they would lay there beneath the sky filled with endless stars.
And just when he wasn’t looking, she would catch her self peering at him. She saw the sky reflect on his eyes, like they were a whole other wonder just trapped inside forever captivating those who gaze upon them.
It was beautiful.
Yet so wrong.
These feelings shouldn’t be...
Hanabi often finds herself in distress over what she felt for her rival. It confused her, irked her, even put her on situations she normally did not meddle with.
Especially that time she found out she even felt something other than competition for her rival. That was certainly a very exciting day.

“Hey, Hanabi” Hanabi was snatched from her thoughts to see Hayabusa giving her a look of confusion.
Crap... Was she just caught starting at him starting at the sky again?!
“Hmm? What?” she asked a little too startled than she wanted to sound.
Hayabus hummed in a calculating manner.
“Well. You seem distracted lately, especially when we spar” he voiced out his concern, especially since he won a little too easily this time around.
“Everything fine” Hanabi huffed, disregarding his suspicion.
Silence filled the rest of the night for both of them, enjoying the beauty of things around them.

Another short and brief one... This was more inspired by hanabi's story on the game.
I'll post something longer on the next update.
Stay safe everyone!
