Making Friends

Esmeralda POV(mostly)

''You're saying that you painted Odin's. No. The Odin's eyepatch pink???!!!!''Sirius asked/screamed.

''Yes, but it was hot pink and I got in trouble because he had a meeting with rulers of the other realms that day. But it was the one of the best prank I pulled on Grandpa.''I said.All three of their faces were hilarious. James and Sirius had a mix admiration on their faces but Remus had a slightly disapproving look. 

After a few more minutes of talking the compartment door opened,revealing a tall boy with long blond hair, he looked like a fifth year.''Lucius Malfoy'',he said in a high voice.''I am a prefect. All of you are making too much noise and disturbing others. I would keep it to a minimum if you do not want to earn a detention on your first night at Hogwarts.''

Remus looked scared while James and Sirius were grinning sheepishly. I said in the most polite voice(I am a princess)''I apologize on behalf of me and my companions, sir.I will make sure they cause no more trouble. It is a pleasure to meet you,sir. Esmeralda Lokisdottir, Princess of Asgard.''I finished smirking and stroaking Black's fur as he growled. Malfoy's pale face paled further.

I could hear all three boys were snickering in the background. I grinned to myself. 

Malfoy gulped.''I...I...We are going to reach soon. Better change into your robes.''he said turned around and left. We broke out laughing. I was clutching my stomach which was hurting from laughing so hard.

''That was bloody brilliant!''commented James. I gave them a curtsy. 'Why! Thank you! Anyway I we Better get changed.Can you look after Black for a few minutes?''I asked.They nodded and I left the compartment. On my way to the girl's changing room, I was a beautiful girl with flaming red hair who looked like she had been crying.

''Hi! I'm Esmeralda.''I said. She turned towards me wiping her face wife a hanky. ''Lily Evans' 'she said.''Nice to meet you Lily.Are you a first year?''she nodded''Me too.''

Then we both got into different cubicles to get changed.''We both have green eyes.''she noticed. ''We do,don't we?They kind of look similar,although mine are electric and yours are bottle green.So are you excited to go to Hogwarts?''I asked.

''Yeah.Very excited.I can't wait to see the castle.''she said.''I can't wait to make more friends.''          ''I should get going..See you at school.''                                                                                                                     I walked back to my compartment to see the boys in deep discussion.''What's with all the thinking boys?''                                                                                                                                                                        ''Oh.We were just thinking would the Slythrins look better in red and gold or yellow and black''Sirius replied.''Definitely red and gold''I said.

After a while of talking about families, more pranks and few other things, the train came to halt.    We stepped out of the train onto the station wich had a sign labelled'HOGSMEAD'.                              ''So this is Hogsmead.I honestly don't think I can wait till third year to come here.''said James.      ''Don't worry.I am sure we can sneak out of school''I whispered.                                                                   

''Firs' 'ears ove' he'e''A loud voice called.I turned around to see a man.No.A giant man like uncle Volstagg.A few students who looked like they were first years walked over to the giant.                      ''I'm 'agrid.Keepe' o' Ke's at 'ogwarts''.Hagrid said.
