after three months of touring, LAYLANI HILLS entire tour was cancelled due to coronavirus.
"cancelled?" laylani asked her manager in disbelief. her manager nodded. she knew it was for her fans protection, but it's just hurt her heart.
she leaned her head against the wall of the tour bus and groaned. a few tears fell down her face, but she quickly wiped them.
"we'll be arriving in los angeles in about three hours," the driver said over the speaker.
laylani pulled out her phone to call zane. she knew if anyone was gonna put her in a better mood. she sat down in the back room, pulling the curtain closed.
"hey lani whats up?" zane asked and she frowned. "i'm on my way home," she says.
"why? aren't you supposed to be flying over the ocean right now?" he asks.
"tour got cancelled," she says, her voice quivering. zane felt awful. he hated hearing laylani sad, and he hated that he wasn't with her right then.
"aw baby, i'm so sorry," he says and she nods. "it'll be okay," she says.
she told him that they were going to be in la in three hours. "it'll be like 7 then, i think a few of us are going over to jeff's to watch him cut vardan and jonah's hair for an episode," zane tells her and she nods.
"i'm not sure if i'm in the mood for a group hangout," she says and zane sighs.
"well it could be a surprise, i know how much you love surprises," zane says sarcastically.
"i'll think about it," laylani says.
"okay we'll get some sleep and i'll pick you up when you get back," he says and they say goodbye.
laylani sets her phone down and walks over to her bunk. she climbs in, wrapping her blanket around her before she falls asleep.

three hours later
laylani was shaken awake by one of her tour mates. "lan, were home," he says and she smiles. she climbs out of her bunk and carries her blankets with her.
she walks off the bus. she hugs everyone goodbye before bringing her luggage to the back of zane's car. zane gets out and hugs laylani for a few seconds.
they put her luggage in the back and get in the car.
"so i know you'll probably say no, but i told vardan about your tour. vardan said he would pretend that you were his girlfriend and pretend to have you over and then jeff will get surprised," zane says and laylani nods. she liked the idea and thought it would be funny.
"i'll do it," laylani says and zane looks at her confused. "wow okay," he says and tells her to text vardan.
she texts him they're on the way and vardan says they're almost done which is perfect.
