after last nights run in with the malfoy's, you all got home at around 8pm. just in time for night break. you and ron hopped on your broom to drop ron and his supplies off at the burrow.
as you dropped ron off, you flew back up into the clouds and started thinking about your encounter at honey dukes. you would need to keep your guard up at school. but draco already has a way of melting the wall down.
you cleared your thoughts as you landed in your back yard. you walked in through the back door and your mom was there waiting for you. she prepped you for everything for the morning. your dad was at work, but you knew he would be there for you tomorrow morning.
"ok, and that should be everything. i'll pack your school supplies into a case. but you need to pack your robes, your clothes, and you need to make sure to bring nala with you on the train."
nala is your fluffy siamese cat. she's always been there for you through good and bad times. she's adorable.
you gave your mom a smile and walked up to your room. as you started to pack, you grabbed the snake pin out of the silver box and examined it a little more closely. it was all silver diamonds, but in the middle there were two tinier green diamonds.
you put the pin into your black leather bag. it felt so familiar, but so mysterious at the same time. you finished packing your makeup and hair accessories and sat on your suit case to close it.
you laid down for bed and almost immediately fell asleep. you have a really big day ahead of you.
