You stood there, momentarily confused. A date? An idol girl just asked you on a date. After 20 years, you were finally asked out on a date. Better late than never.

"A date?" You asked with a confused tone.

"Yeah, can Yena and I go out on a date?" Yuri asked.

You mentally facepalmed as you realized that she wasn't asking YOU out on a date, but rather, for you to accompany them as they hang out. You couldn't help but feel a bit sad.

"Oh. Yeah, sure." You answered. Brushing off your embarrassment, you went back to reading your emails. But the eerie feeling of someone watching you caused you to turn around, once again making eye contact with Yuri as she had never left.

"Yes?" You asked her.

"Well, as our manager, you're going to have to come along with us, you know?"

"Oh. Okay, well where do you want to go then?"

"That's the thing. We don't know. Yena suggested that I ask you for ideas," she sheepishly replied.

You rubbed your chin as you thought of all the possible places for them to have some alone time together.

A smile grew on your face as you knew a good place that they'd probably enjoy. It was the quintessential place to go to on a date. You think.

"Would you like to go to the mall?" You suggested.

"The mall?" She said uncertainly.

"Yeah, there's a lot of things to do at the mall. You could eat, go shopping, and play games at the arcade. I think. I'm not really sure, I've never been on a date myself, not gonna lie."

"You've never been on a date before, Oppa? Aigoo~, I hope you'll find your love soon too.

You snorted. "How was I supposed to go on a date if noone talked to me anyways? I'm gonna be die alone," you added fake weeping to that sentence, causing Yuri to give you a slap on the shoulder.

"Yah, don't say that! I think you'll find love in your life. I think you'd be a great boyfriend!" Yuri reassured. You gave a slight chuckle in response.

"I don't know man. It's whatever. I'll think about my love life when I'm done managing you guys. Hopefully that means I'll never think about my love life, then."

"Waaaaah, what a great manager."

"Heh. Thanks. I haven't done anything noticeable, though."

She scoffed. "You've already made us an amazing meal! A lot better than our last manager, at least."

"Awwwwwwh, you're too kind Yuri-ah." You stood up from your chair and gave her cheek a squish, causing her to blush a little.

"Yah, don't squish my cheek like that," Yuri said, rubbing her cheek after you let go of her cheek.

"I just wanted to confirm that you were the hamster of IZ*ONE, after all." Upon hearing this, Yuri blushed even harder, even using her hands to hide her embarrassment.

"Anyways, is the mall fine with you two? I need to run some errands like buying stuff for you guys and for me, so if you're fine with it we can go after I take you guys on your 'date'".

"Okay. I'll ask Yena about it then. I think she's fine with going to the mall. I'll see you in a bit then," Yuri said. She gave you a wave and left, resulting in you turning your attention back to your emails.

"I should probably tell Misoo noona about my plans..." you muttered to yourself. You composed a new email and sent one to her, explaining about how you were going to spend some of the black budget onto some furniture and various kitchen appliances. Of course, you made sure your email did not specify what you were going to buy, as those pieces of furniture definitely was not intended for you in any way... But you were going to buy an ice cream machine, and even though ice cream wasn't the most healthy option, it would be a nice treat every once in a while.
