Looking through the windows
Blurry faces pass by
The people next to me I care nothing of, yet should
Those face...
The ones whose lives have nothing in common with mine
Just a blur in a window
Mean so much.
Each has a past, present, and future.
One an addict, one a mother, the other a rape victim.
Oh look there's a dentist who just got a divorce with a mildly depressive woman.

All the lives
All the faces
And yet they mean more to me than the people in the car with me.
