Fast forward to the present day
Within museums, history's alive
The enduring emperors love statues preserved, restored
The Pompeii lovers moments embrace fascinate, adored
Encouraging generations to learn and thrive
As one boy hesitates to enter this world
Concerned about stereotypes
Concerned about comments and gripes
A step forward his emotions swirled
Entering the exhibit feels enlightening
Realising this love goes back as far as time
Bold sculptures, a moments love makes him feel good and fine
The feeling of peace, he knew from this day
Him being gay really is ok
