A/N: Lmao please be proud of my stupid Wenlis edit. 😅

3rd Person POV

The moment Lisa stepped into the room, she had to stifle her gasp.

There on the hospital bed, laid a girl, the most beautiful girl she has ever seen.

But what made her gasp, what the state she was in.

Her body was covered with bandages, red stains here and there, a huge black bruise forming on the corner of her cheek. She had a few stitches near her right temple, and a cut on her plump lips. Her right arm was in a cast, but over all, she looked okay.

"She's unconscious right now, but she will probably wake up in an hour or so. She's lucky she didn't get hit that hard. The crash only broke a few bones and some minor injuries. No internal bleeding. She should stay here for a few days, until her bone has healed enough to use a soft cast, then she's free to go home." The nurse looked up from her clipboard. "I'll leave you two alone." She smiled gently and quietly walked out the room.

Lisa walked towards the bed gingerly, afraid that she would wake up the sleeping girl.

"So, this is my wife?" She thought to herself. Her gaze analyzed every feature of Jennie's face, imprinting it in her mind. "She's a Goddess."

She traced the unconscious girl's jaws, her thumb grazing the latter's lips.

"I hope you would wake up soon. I want to know you more." She spoke to the empty room.

Lisa let out a sigh, and walked to the door, giving Jennie one last glance, before walking out and into her car.

Once settled down and on the busy street of Soul, she called her secretary.

"Hey, Wendy Unnie? Can you find more about Jennie Kim?" She spoke as Wendy picked up the phone.

"Of course, Lis. Do you know this person?" Wendy asked and there was a sound of shuffling papers.

"Well...not really. I just met her, but something tells me we're going to be pretty close in the future. Just...pull up her info please." Lisa replied.

"Right. Of course. You got it boss!" Wendy chuckled and hung up.

"Aish...that hamster." She shook her head fondly.

Her gaze shifted to her radio, adjusting it so that she found a news channel that had somewhat interesting news.

It was only background music, until her ears perked up at the mention of a car crash.

"At 18:35, there has been an accident at XXX street. A black Toyota crashed into a pedestrian, both people have been sent to XXX hospital. I would avoid that street, because they are..."

Th voice faded away as Lisa got lost in her thoughts.

"XXX Street? That's about two blocks away from my office. But I didn't hear any crash or sirens..."

Before she could ponder any further, she was already back at her office.

Walking to her room, she spotted Wendy, face buried in a pile of sheets.

"Oh, hey Hamster Unnie. I thought you went home?" Lisa asked with a teasing grin.

"Well," Wendy raised her head, accidentally knocking over the huge stack. "Oh man...anyway. I came back 'cause my Monkey Dongsaeng asked for a girl's profile." Then her eyes widen. "Oh, and I didn't know you asked me to research about your wife! And when did you get married?! Why wasn't I invited?!" Wendy furrowed her eye brows, huffing and crossed her arms, plopping onto her chair with a scowl.

Lisa cooed, the sight of her Hamster Unnie was too adorable for her to handle, the she patted the older's head, smiling apologetically.

"Sorry, Unnie. But I don't even know I was married until today." She laughed out whole-heartedly as the older stared at her in confusion.

"What do you mean..."

"Well, for starters, I only found out I had a wife today, when the hospital called me and told me my wife was in the hospital. Apparently, she got in a car crash at 18:35, according to the radio." Lisa smiled nonchalantly.

"Oh...yeah that kind of makes sense...I guess?" Wendy still had her confused hamster look on her face and Lisa couldn't help but to kiss the puffy cheeks.

"Hey!"

"Sorry Unnie. But you looked too cute." She giggled as the older glared at her.

"Aish...whatever you monkey. Stop being such a flirt."

"But I got it from the best." Lisa winked and Wendy smiled proudly.

"Yes, that you did."

"But promise you won't tell anyone." Lisa stared intently at her friend.

"Not even the bear?"

"No way. Seulgi Unnie sucks at keeping secrets. I just need you to keep your mouth shut until me and Jennie discuss about the situation." And Wendy nodded in understanding.

***

There hasn't been a day that Lisa missed visiting the hospital.

Jennie had woken up just a few days ago, and Lisa has rushed out of her office like an arrow, practically running to the elevator across the long corridor, earning a few weird looks from her employees.

Wendy just chuckled as she watches her boss zip pass her, and a confused bear poked her head out of her office as well.

"Why's Lisa in such a hurry?" Seulgi asked as she cautiously walked towards Wendy's desk.

"I don't know. Maybe she'll tell us." Wendy laughed at the clueless bear.

Lisa got to the hospital in record time, I mean, she did run a few red lights, got honked by some grumpy people as she zoomed pass them. Definitely Karens.

"Hey..." Lisa started and peeked through the door as the Nurse smiles at her, recognizing her from all those other days she visited, and the confused stare of the girl in a hospital gown.

"Hey...?" Jennie waved hesitantly.

"Ah Lisa, glad you're here. But I'm pretty sure your office is like, a 10-minute drive from here?" The Nurse, Dahyun asked as she checked her watch. "And you came in just under 7 minutes. You didn't run over someone, did you?" She laughed at the embarrassed girl.

"No, of course not." Lisa's ears went red.

"Good. Because I would know if you're lying to me." She smirked and Lisa just scowled at her.

"Um...hello?" The two girls whipped her head to the voice.

"Right. I'll leave you two alone. Have fun! And don't forget to use protection!" Dahyun laughed and walked out before any of them could respond.

Lisa was shooting the door a glare, but soon turned her attention to the girl on the bed when she faked cough.

"So um, hey...but do I know you?" The Brunette asked and stared at the blonde confusedly.

"Oh right. You probably don't know me, Jennie Kim, but I'm your wife." Lisa smiled awkwardly as she watched the cog turn in Jennie's head.

"M-my wife?!"
