Jennie's POV
"M-my wife?!"
First, I had an amazing one-night stand with a stranger, then I get into an accident, and now this woman is claiming to be my wife?
"Yes. Your wife." The blonde woman in front of me said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
I stared intently at her mesmerizing face, trying to see any familiarities.
The woman has big brown doe eyes, full plump lips, and her button nose is so cute and boopable.
Her bangs laid perfectly across her forehead and it really fits her small face.
She looked like a living barbie doll...
I think I've seen her before...
"Done checking me out yet?" She smirked and that brought me back to my senses.
I scowled up at her from where I was laying, and she just let out a chuckle.
"I wasn't checking you out." I hissed at her.
How could I have possibly married her?!
"Sure, you weren't." She winked.
"I was just trying to figure out if we met before. Have we?" I gave her a questioning stare.
"I would think so...you don't happen to be a Joy and Yeri's wedding, were you? Because I think I saw you talking to Irene, Seulgi's girlfriend." She gave me the same stare.
"Oh! So that's where we met. How did you know the two?" I asked.
"I'm best friends with Seulgi and Wendy Unnie. And I know Joy fairly well, we were also pretty close in our high school days, so she invited me as well. What about you?"
"We run a small business together with her Yeri's sisters and Jisoo's girlfriend. Just a small business, but we're pretty much a family." I chuckled and she nodded at my answer.
She looked as if she wanted to ask me something, but didn't dare to.
"There is one thing I don't understand." I raised my eyebrow, urging her to continue. "if we only met then, then how and why did we get married?"
I wanted to ask the same thing, but she beat me to it.
"I-I'm not sure. We were in Vegas...maybe we got really drunk and just got married?" I gave her a tight-lipped smile.
"It is a possibility. But I somehow doubt it. My friends are always trying to get me to date someone, and they always say they know this great person for me...and Irene also pitch in sometimes, so my guess is they got us drunk, and then pushed us to get married..." Lisa concluded as if she was talking to herself.
Mouth agape, I tried to say something but it was caught in my throat. "D-don't be absurd." I managed to let out.
"I'm just saying." She raised her hand in defense. "I wouldn't put it past them to set me up with someone. And I'm honestly not complaining. Despite the short time we've known each other, I feel like I can talk to you really comfortably."
"I-I feel the same way." I had realized I said it out loud until I saw her face-splitting grin.
"Maybe we can get to know each other, maybe over a cup of coffee?" She asked, covering her blushing cheeks.
I felt my face get warm as well.
I let out a quiet giggle. "I would like that..."
"Lalisa. Lalisa Manoban but people just call me Lisa." She offered a handshake.
