They started this tradition when it was advised by the Avenger due to the explosive attitudes in the Guardians.

Drax got to pick the game tonight. He picked truth or dare. When he announced this most of them groned except for Groot and Mantis who love the game. Even with Mantis's lack of socialism she still can expose people harddddd. 
As Drax says. We don't fuck around here.
Rocket was first "Quill truth or dare?" Quill nowing all to well what Rocket wanted to do to him. "Dare." He said cautiously. "I dare you to jump on Drax." Rocket said taking it easy. Quill did so and caused Drax to give them one of his big laughs. "You puny tarren. You are light. I am heave and could easily crush you!" "Thanks for the reminder buddy" Peter said in a sarcastic tone. Gamora smiled and looked down. Peter saw this a blushed a little before he was thrown on the ground by Drax. "OW! What the he'll dude?!" Quill was pissed but the porpoise of doing these things every night was to not get in fights so he said nothing else and sat down. A few more rounds went along with some yelling and cursing and laughing and blushing by Mantis and Drax. The next part of the exercise was to calmly sit down and relax for 5 min without talking to anyone. Gamora and Drax usually fell asleep for this part do to boardum. The warrior dozed off and was drifting off when she felt some one squeeze in her arms. Groots had found a place on her lap and looked at her with tired eyes asking silently for permission. She smilled and nodded. When she looked up she saw the others smerking at her. "What? He is tired." She rolled her eyes and leanded back will mouthing idiots under her breath.
When time was up Quill looked over and found Gamora and laying down sodeways on the couch and groot in her arms with his face just above her breasts. Peter could not help but smile as ge looked at them. When everyone got up to streach and go to bed Quill quietly woke Gamora up. She grunted and slowly opened her eyes. She started to move but felt someone in her arms. She looked down at Groot and gave a smile. When Rocket picked Groot up Gamora got up and was stretching when Groot said "I am Groot." I want to stay with mommmm. The Guardians froze mid streach. Groot stood his ground. "I am Groot." I want to stay with mom. Everyone turned to stare at Gamora who was frozen with a shocked look on her face. After 30 seconds Drax burst out laughing. "Thats not your mom silly tree!"
