*Krrrrrchhhhh... Can you hear me, IT Agent? Is this signal clear?*

"Yes, clear as day sir."

*Alright then. Head to the NTAS base after your introduction to the school, 8 pm, sharp.*

"Yeah, yeah..." I mumbled as I switched off my headpiece. I sighed. Today was a tour day of my new "school", and HE was already breathing down my back with instructions from his agents. My hand ran through my tousled brown hair as I walked to the basketball court, where the 'popular' boys of the school would be hanging out. My hand was discolored slightly, a hint of green floating around. That's not good. My other hand smacked it back to it's normal color.

Y'know, I wish I could just sit under the beautiful cherry tree behind the school, but no. HE said I have to be blending in with the rest of them, even when I hadn't even been introduced to the students at school. On top of that, I was glitching like crazy. It would be nice and secluded if I sat under the cherry tree.

Begrudgingly, I plopped down on the steps near the basketball court to read a book, letting my long legs stretch out. It was hard to concentrate on Julith killing the dragon when all I could hear was the shouting of players and smell the nasty BO coming off from them. It especially made it hard to focus when "the king" as they called him, was playing on that court. Albert Simmons. HE had warned about him. Simmons was one of the biggest and burliest guys in school who had no problem beating up a kid like me with his goons. My plan was to stay low, and with him making a scene, I would blow my cover. I finished my chapter when I checked the time. 7:00, time to hustle. I was packing up my things until I spotted the gang of basketball players trudging over to me. Great. Can't you just let a scrawny sixteen year old go home?

"Hey kid!" One of them shouted. I froze. "You're the new one in town, right?" I said nothing, but slightly nodded, feeling my insides churning.

"Hellooo? Do you speak English?" The guy said. I turned around. To my luck, it was Simmons. He reached for me. I quickly pulled back. "Woah, hey. Somebody doesn't seem as though he wants to talk. Why so tense?" I gave him a look that said What do you want? Simmons raised his bushy eyebrow.

"Well, we always give newcomers a little lesson to start off their first year here.." Simmons started. He nodded towards his other goons. They advanced towards me. There was a pulse through my bones.

"You guys don't have to do this, alright?" I tried to convince them. One of the goons smirked.

"Pussy boy." he sneered. He swung. I blocked it easily. He raised his eyebrows. Then he swung multiple more times. Quickly and efficiently, I blocked them without wincing. Surprised, the goon swung at me one last time. Blocking it with my forearm, I punched him in the stomach. My hand glowed green and glitches formed for a split second. It faded before anyone could see.

"Ugh.." The goon clutched his belly. Simmon's gang looked at me in surprise, and they started to advance quickly.

Shit.

I grabbed my backpack, moving through their gigantic hands like water. I hopped over the ledge I was leaning on, throwing down my special sneakers. They hovered above the ground and the nanobots adjusted to my feet as I fit into them. I could see the goons and Simmons running towards me like a bunch of angry bulls.

"Sorry fellas, I gotta bounce." I yelled, smirking. I saluted. Then I half hovered, half ran off towards the setting sun.
