~Hannah's PoV~

The next morning, after meeting Harry for the first time at The Leaky Cauldron, I woke Hermione up early.
"Morning sunshine!" I said merrily, after tapping Hermione on the shoulder a few times to wake her up.
"What time is it? Why did you wake me up?" She said, sort of grumpily, she was obviously quite tired.
"We have to go meet Hagrid today to get our school supplies! And you get to meet Harry!" I said excitedly, picking up the equipment list that was lying on Hermione's bedside table. As I read, she slowly got out of bed and got dressed. I was already dressed, wearing blue jeans and a red jumper. Hermione also wore blue jeans, and paired this with a colourful stripy jumper.

Mum and Dad had taken us back into the London street which housed the pub we met Harry in, and Hagrid was waiting outside. I rushed over to him and hugged him. Hermione walked slowly behind me, looking up at the giant, with a shocked expression on her face.
"Ah hello, Hannah," Hagrid laughed, hugging me back. "You must be Hermione." He looked down at her, and smiled. She looked rather confused by the giant, but smiled back and greeted him.
"Are ye ready to head to Diagon Alley?" Hagrid asked.
"I'm sorry, where?" I asked, thinking he had just said diagonally.
"Diagon Alley, it's the best place a witch or wizard can go to buy anythin they need!" Hagrid stated.
"I'm definitely ready." Hermione said, laughing.
"Me too!" I smiled.

As we waved goodbye to our parents, we walked into the pub with Hagrid, and I saw Harry sat at a table in the corner alone with a hot chocolate. I sprinted across the room and hugged him from behind his chair, and he jumped, then span and hugged me back.
"Holy cricket! You must be Harry Potter!" Hermione said, walking over behind us with Hagrid.
"Hello." Harry said, smiling.
"Harry, this is Hermione Granger! Her parents adopted me, and we got really close growing up together." I said, smiling at Hermione.
"Nice to meet you," Harry said, stretching out his hand to shake Hermione's, which she then shook in agreement.

"Alright then, now that yous all know each other, we best be off." Hagrid said, happily, gesturing towards the back door of the pub, which I hadn't noticed yesterday. We all walked out the door, and were stood in a small sort of garden area. I say that, but it was really just a brick wall surrounding around us. There were a few bins, and some boxes and barrels out of the back of the pub too. Hagrid took his small pink umbrella and lifted it towards a small indent in between a few bricks. He tapped the left brick, then the right, then the top two, and finally the bottom right. The wall had started to move. The wall opened up, revealing a street full of shops.

Hermione, Harry and I stood back, shocked

Hermione, Harry and I stood back, shocked.
"Welcome to Diagon Alley!" Hagrid happily yelled.

There were so many shops! Hagrid walked us down the centre of the street, whilst Hermione, Harry and I gawked at the shops, in all their glory.
"Over here is where you'll be buyin yer pets, and here is were you'll get yer books, and up front is Gringots Bank." I stared at the huge building directly in front of us, and we all walked over and entered. The inside was very grand looking, with tall desks on each side of the large room, and one taller desk at the very back of the room. We walked towards the taller desk, behind Hagrid.
"Hagrid, what are those things?" Harry asked, looking up at the creatures counting money on the desks.
"They're goblins, Harry. Clever as they come, but not the most friendly of beasts. Best stay close you three." Hagrid answered, and we all moved a little closer to Hagrid. As we reached the tall desk, Hagrid cleared his throat to get the goblin's attention, and then said:
"Harry and Hannah Potter wish to enter their their vault."
"Do Mr and Miss Potter have their key?" The goblin said, looking down at us.
"Ah, I've got it here somewhere," Hagrid started, emptying his pockets onto the desk in front of him.
"Here we are." Hagrid said, as he had found a small gold key which he handed to the goblin, and then shoved his things back into his pockets, except for a letter, which he then handed to the goblin also, saying, "I ave a letter from Professor Dumbledore. It's about you know what, in vault you know which." Hagrid said, quietly, but just loud enough for us to hear.
"Very well." Said the goblin. We all boarded a small cart with a different goblin, which then quickly sped off down some very thin tracks, and then after a minute, pulled to a fierce stop, launching Harry, Hermione and I forward, but Hagrid had held his arm in front of us, acting like a bar holding us in.
"Vault six hundred and eighty seven." The goblin got out of the cart. "Lamp please." He said, and Hagrid passed him the lamp that was on the cart. Hagrid, Harry, Hermione and I got out of the cart.
"Key please." The goblin said, handing Hagrid the lamp to hold, which he traded for the small gold key. The goblin unlocked the vault, and the doors slowly opened. There were piles and piles of coins, each almost as tall as Harry and I. My jaw had dropped, and so had Harry and Hermione's.
"Didn't think yer parents would leave yer with nothin did ye?" Hagrid said, smiling down at Harry and I. Hagrid pulled out two small satchels, and put a small heap of coins in each. He then put some in his pocket, which he said was to pay for the school supplies. We all boarded the cart again, and the goblin locked the vault and raced off again, until coming to a stop once more.
"Vault seven hundred and thirteen." The goblin said, his voice exactly the same tone as when he read the last vault number. Hagrid got out of the cart, and left us inside, however we could still see the vault, and once it was opened, what was inside. A small, grubby package laid in the vault, which Hagrid then scooped up and shoved in a pocket.
"What's in there?" Hermione asked.
"Can't tell ye, official Hogwarts business. Top secret." Hagrid began, "Best not to mention this, you three." He said to us. We all nodded.
