'BREAKING UP IS REALLY, REALLY HARD TO DO'

ENTERING CHUBBIE'S, NAT walks over to Cory and Shawn's booth, with Shawn making out with a girl across from Cory. Natalia looks at the girl and huffs. It was times like that made her question Shawn's intentions with her. He claimed he loved her and was going to marry her but would chase after girls in front of her. It was hard to understand him, and Natalia hated that she was trying to. She repeatedly told herself that she and Shawn couldn't together because they were best friends.

'My own father didn't want me, why would he actually want me?' Nat thinks to herself

The girl and Shawn separate, and she gets up to leave. Nat takes a sit next to Cory as he reads off the invitation " 'Stephanie and Todd invite you to a dinner party at Todd's place. Couples only'. That's discrimination! It leaves out a lot of people who have committed themselves to the single life. People like us!" Cory says and looks up to Shawn rubbing lipgloss off his lips "People like me and Nat." He says putting his arm around her shoulder

"Hey Nat." A boy their age says as he walks past them

"Hey Spence." Nat says

"People like me." Cory says removing his hand from her shoulders

"Cory, just ask a girl and you can go, too." Nat says and looks around the restaurant "Look, there's Wendy. You know her, you like her. Ask her to be your girlfriend."

"Just for the party? That's not right." Cory says

"I asked Spence to the party." Natalia shrugs

"You're thinking too much Cor. Do what I do – don't think." Shawn says

Natalia shakes her head "Don't do that but go ask Wendy."

"Okay here I go." Cory says and gets up from the booth.

"Good luck." Nat says

"Why didn't you ask me to the party?" Shawn asks once Cory was gone.

"Because you were too busy tasting every girl's lip gloss flavor." Nat says

"I mean cherry is in the running." Shawn grins making Nat roll her eyes.

"Point proven," Nat mutters.

Cory comes over to them "Hey, look at me! I'm a couple!" He says puts hands on hips.

"Proud of your Curly Fry." Natalia says

The trio were in the cafeteria hanging out, Shawn and Nat sat on the table and Cory was standing.  Bunny comes up to the three "Hi, Cory."
