THE BLACK FAMILY WERE PRACTICALLY Slytherin Royalty. After all, they were one of the Purest bloodlines with almost everyone (apart from a certain Sirius Black) getting sorted into the house of the cunning. Even though Alexia didn't share the same views as the rest of her ancestors (most likely due to living with Andromeda and Ted, the latter of the two being a Muggleborn), she was still seen and labeled as the Slytherin Princess, which meant anytime she walked through the school, groups of people would move out her way as if they were a parting sea. Kara would always joke around, saying if Alexia really felt up to it, she could probably start her very own cult, but she didn't. Much to people's surprise, Alexia was absolutely fine with being in the shadows.

Of course, popularity had a lot of benefits to it, but it also had the negatives. Ones that were definitely heightened with Sirius Black on the loose. As she walked into the Great Hall, Kara and Gabrielle on either side of her, she spotted every student already looking in her direction. Rolling her eyes, Alexia puffed out her chest as she walked towards the Slytherin table, her friends following her.

"Looks like you've got fans," Kara snorted, nodding at a handful of second year Slytherins sitting a few seats down from them, their eyes wide and mouths open as they stared straight at Alexia.

"Well, I'm honoured," She muttered sarcastically, groaning in disgust when she spotted one of the second years dribbling. Shaking her head, the black haired witch looked away and towards the delicious food set out across the long tables. The food at Hogwarts was absolutely delicious - it wasn't anything compared to Andromeda's cooking though, but it was definitely second best.

"Miss. Black, Miss. Montgomery, Miss. West," The monotone voice that belonged to the one and only Professor Snape said from behind Alexia and Kara, "Your schedules," He threw three pieces of parchment in front of the girls.

"Thanks, Snapey," Alexia grinned earning an eye roll from the man before he turned around and walked over to the other students, his long cape flying out behind him.

"I can't believe you're related to him," Gabrielle grumbled, wiping her hand on her robes before she grabbed the parchment with her name on it.

Alexia rolled her eyes as she took her own one, "I'm not related to him," She reminded the brunette, "He's just my so-called Godfather," She shrugged casually. Supposedly, Regulus and Severus were pretty good friends whilst at Hogwarts together, even with Snape being older. From what her Godmother had told her, Severus took her father right under his wing from the moment he was placed in Slytherin, supposedly he almost met her mother through the greasy haired man.

"Could you imagine if Andromeda didn't take you in?" Kara suddenly questioned, "You'd be living with a professor."

Alexia shuttered at the thought. Sure, Snape wasn't too bad with her, but she saw how he treated other students, how uptight he was. There was no doubt in her mind that if she had to live with him, she'd either go insane or full goth just like him, "Anyway, let's not think about him, can we just discuss how for the first time in five years we don't have Herbology with Gryffindors?" Every year their Herbology had been with the lions and even though Alexia didn't have anything against most of them, it was certainly annoying having to sit right in between the Weasley twins, which meant she would leave the classroom with far too much soil in her hair.

"They seem disappointed," Gabrielle commented, gesturing with her head over to the Gryffindor table. Turning around, Kara and Alexia glanced over at the lions, watching as the twins frowned as they re-read what she assumed was their time table.

"Good," Alexia grinned mischievously, "Shall we go? I bet you want the best seat besides Aaron."

Gabrielle brushed profusely, "Shut up!"
