Tul's POV

After the incident at my apartment with Max brawling with Mike, he didn't visit again for about a month now. It hurts but there is nothing I can do about it,and as for Mike,I don't really know what's up with him. He had been coming to my apartment frequently these days.

Is not like am complaining though,he is somehow able to divert my mind off Max sometimes. His presence in my life at this moment is a bit weird but I think is also a good thing.

Tul returned home from work,he was exhausted so after taking a shower,he didn't even bother to have dinner when he slumped on his bed. He almost drifted to sleep when he heard his doorbell rang,he ignored it. Whoever was at the door was not important than his sleep. But the person at the door was also very persistent,Tul groaned in annoyance.

He walked lazily to the door to see the nuisance who just won't let him have his lovely rest and sleep. He opened the door with his eyes droopy.

"Hi,sorry to disturb you. Are you Khun Tul?" The person at the door asked and the voice sounded like a female's. Tul instantly looked up and he was greeted by the least person he ever wanted to meet at that moment. He was quite familiar with this person,he can't say the same for that person though,he sees this person almost all the time when he goes to his and Max's hometown. Max's parents don't hesitate to show her off to their peers in the hometown.

He had always dodged meeting her whenever Max's mother visits his parents followed with her. He won't call that running away,he just doesn't want to face the woman who has his man. It's awkward and weird. But what was she doing at his door?

"Yes I am." Tul said,he was a bit nervous and very curious to know what her mission is at his condo.

"Well then...can..I come in?" Tul then realize they were still standing outside,how impolite of him to not invite his guest in.

"Oh sorry...please!" Tul showed her in.

"Thank you." Tul gestured her to sit while he too sat across her.

"So...how may I help you?" Tul asked. The lady smiled at Tul and began...

"Am Iris, Max's fiancee." She introduced herself or more like declaring something.

"It couldn't be you came all the way from your house to my condo to tell me that,right?" Tul was a bit pissed,of course he knew who she was but does she have to say it like that? And what was her real purpose for coming there anyway?

"Yes,I heard Max is a friend of yours..infact your best friend,we will be getting married this coming Saturday and I gave him an invitation to bring to you but for some reason he insisted he couldn't so I came personally to bring this to you. Your support means alot to me and Max!" She said and handed a wedding invitation card to Tul,it was obvious she came to tell Tul,he had finally lost his man to her. She heard about Max having a boyfriend,she also realized Max was indeed in love with the man since he hadn't ever touch her before. Max is always with her just because his father wants him to be.

He is being filial,she noticed how sometimes Max returns home looking refreshed and bubbly. Yeah she is staying at Max's apartment,Max father was the one who insisted. She pretended it was too much and inappropriate but inwardly she was celebrating.

She had been in love with Max since high school, but the latter never spared her a glance,and when she heard Max was gay,she was heartbroken. They all are from the same hometown but Max never noticed her. But when the chance came to have Max all to herself,she grabbed it tight,whether Max loves her or not,doesn't matter,what matters is that he will be with her even if he is just doing it for the sake of being filial to his dad.
