THINGS HADN'T BEEN OKAY, THOUGH. It turned out Dawn was going through labour and as soon as the funeral ended, without missing a beat she ordered Remus to take her to the Burrow. Remus, of course, began panicking and it was extremely lucky that the rest of the Weasley family were nearby and all of them were eager to help.

Dawn refused to apparate, being too fearful of what could happen if she did so, so instead Arthur flew her, Remus, Ron and Ginny in his car whilst Molly and the rest apparated back to the Burrow to prepare. Ron sat up at the front, his face a pale complexion whenever he glanced at the backseat and heard his sister's pained moans.

Dawn gripped Remus' hand as tightly as she could (thank Merlin for his high pain tolerance) whenever she felt a contraction happening, and as they neared her childhood home, the contractions began happening more and more often, "I hate you Remus Lupin!" She screeched as the car came to a sudden halt.

Remus stroked her hair from her sweaty forehead, "I know, love, I know, but imagine, we're going to meet our baby soon," He cooed softly as Ginny threw the door open and jumped out, allowing Charlie and Bill to sprint over and help Dawn out.

"Damn you Lupin," Dawn groaned, "Why are you always right?" She asked before letting out another pained scream as she now gripped onto Bill's shoulder, causing him to let out a hiss, "Shut up, Bill!"

He quickly did as she ordered, not wanting to get on the wrong side of the woman that was about to birth his niece or nephew. He, Charlie and Remus helped get Dawn inside, where Molly was already waiting with a bowl of warm water and a load of towels.

"Quick, put her on that couch," She ordered, gesturing to the couch covered in towels.

As soon as they helped the redhead lie down, Charlie and Bill rushed out of the room, giving their sister and her fiancé privacy. Dawn gripped Remus' hand tighter. She was sweating profusely and it seemed to be mixing with tears that streamed down her face.

Remus' heart broke at the look on Dawn's face, but he tried to remind himself that once this was over, they'll have a lifetime of happiness. Once all of this was over, they would finally be a little family, a fact that terrified him, but it also made him more than ecstatic.

"You're almost there, Dawnie," Molly reassured her, "Just a few more pushes."

Dawn threw her head back, lolling it from side to side, "I can't," She cried out, "I can't do it anymore."

Remus placed his hand behind her head as he looked into her teary eyes, "Yes, you can, Dawn. You're so strong, I know you can do this," He reassured her.

Dawn choked back a sob as she sat back up. More tears leaked from her eyes when another contraction hit and at the same time she leaned forwards with the help of Remus, pushing harder than every before, "Am I done yet?"

Remus chuckled softly, "Almost there, love."

"If you're lying I'm going to kill you, Lupin," She threatened tiredly.

"And I'll let you," He told her as he squeezed her hand reassuringly.

Dawn screamed again, pushing just as hard as she did a moment ago. As soon as that was over, she threw her head back onto the pillow but looked up as soon as she heard a baby crying. Her eyes widened in shock as she noticed the tiny baby in her mum's arms. Molly wrapped it in a towel, grinning through her tears at her oldest daughter.

"It's a girl," Molly announced, smiling through her happy tears.

Dawn finally tore her eyes from the baby as Molly cleaned it, she looked up at Remus, his eyes were soft as he watched the baby girl squirming around before he looked back over at his fiancé, happy tears pricking at his eyes, "It's a girl," He mumbled, a wide grin spreading across his face.

Dawn sobbed, "I told you so."

AN- I assume they don't go to St. Mungo's when giving birth? I've read about it and it doesn't seem to have a maternity wing so I assumed witches did it at home? But I have no idea so don't come after me if I'm wrong, I don't even know things about real births let alone magical ones.
