Chapter Twenty-Eight

It Was raining outside, Selena could hear the rain drops make contact with the ground, she was at her window bench staring outside from her window. She was bored, she had nothing to do, she heard heels tapping coming towards her. She turned her head aside and saw her mother in a blue dress and her dad in a black tux " selly-bear, we're going out to dinner with some people" Ricardo said " oh"Selena simply said " call Harry, maybe he wants to hang"Ricardo offered " that loser, he wouldn't come if it hit him in the face"Selena said " geez thanks"Harry said coming into the house making Selena get up from her seat " look who came in the pouring rain"Selena smirked " only for you Smelly-bear"Harry smirked back "MOM!!!"Selena said in a loud tone " be nice you guys! MARY!!"Mandy yelled. Mary came she was wearing a uniform her hair pulled to a bun "yes?"Mary said " take care of my kids"Mandy smiled " sure thing, come along"Mary said " Selena, be good!"Ricardo said to her daughter " of course daddy! I always am"Selena said " mhm! Te quiero!"Ricardo said kissing her forehead, Mandy hugged and kissed her cheek and they left " want ice cream?"Mary asked " yup! Sel let's go"Harry said " whatever happened to smelly-bear"Selena asked " oh right!!"Harry spoke. Selena rolled her eyes in annoyance "wait, let me go get my lucky spoon"Selena said running upstairs " ladies and gentlemen my dorky best friend"Harry said walking into the kitchen. Selena came back with a smile on her face, once she entered the kitchen she dropped her spoon "seleeennaa"Diego said " Diego"Selena said "say goodbye to Harry"Diego said as she heard the trigger go off.

"Where is she"Harry argued running through the amount of nurses in his way "where's Selena?? Where is she??"Harry argued his face was boiling red and you could tell he was angry and worried " she's in her room, #132 "the lady said making Harry run down the halls and enter the room. He opens the door and sees Selena on the bed, a white bandage around her head and wrist, needles in her arms and the machine is in beeping. He slowly walks over to her. He grabs her hands and intertwine them together "sir?" He turns his head and see a nurse " does she have any family?"the nurse asked "no"he said shaking his head " I'm all she got"he said " we'll, I don't know how to say this but we done some testes on her and we found out--" "found out what?"Harry asked intruppting her " she's been raped! I'm sorry"she said leaving raped he thought!

He clenched his fist and his jaw tighten just finding out Selena, the girl he loves has been raped makes him so angry that made him punch the wall, he was so angry and guilty. If only he was there, if only he didn't leave her she would've been safe so he blames himself. He falls down on his knee, his head buried into the palm of his hand crying. He felt guilty and angry.

" daddy, put me down"Selena giggled, Ricardo had Selena in his arms trolling her around making her have a fit of laughs " how's my princess doing?"Ricardo asked putting her down " good, now that your here"Selena said smiling poking his belly " good! You should be getting ready"Ricardo said making Selena nod "okay"Selena said running upstairs. Mandy came and saw Selena struggling with putting on a pink dress "here, let me help you"Mandy laughed putting the dress over her head "thanks"Selena smiled. She added her black heels on and a pink headband "beautiful"Mandy complemented her " everyone ready? Wow look At you both"Ricardo said admiring Mandy and Selena

"Hahaha really? These kids are hard to handle"Anne said "heey!!!"selena&harry said " maybe Harry but I'm an angel"Selena said Smiling " a devils angel"Harry muttered " oh yeah!"selena said in front of his face. She grabbed the cake and plastered it in his face " SELENA!!!"Mandy&Ricardo yelled " he derseved it!"selena said crossing her arms "And you derseve this"Harry said picking her up hugging her making Mandy and Ricardo laugh along side Anne.

Selena slowly opened her eyes, she had a massive headache and felt a sharp pain through her side "mmm" she moved her head from side to side "Hey"Harry said touching her forehead smiling down at her " Hey! What happened?"she asked looking around the room " Your in the hospital"he said " I know that doorknob! What happened?"selena asked " you don't remember?"Harry asked " no, I do. Diego was in my house"she softly said not wanting to remember what happened "Yeah! They caught him! He's back in jail babe"Harry said " did anything bad happen?"selena asked " yeah"Harry said " What??"selena asked eager to know " the doctors tried everything"harry started off "What?"selena asked " They cut your legs off"harry said making selena wide her eyes " whaatt???"selena shouted looking under her blanket as she noticed both her legs, perfectly good!! She looked back up at Harry who's trying to contain his laughter but couldn't nomore and just let's it out " you Cheeseball!!!"selena shouted trying to get up but she felt a huge amount of pain on her side that made her groan " Hey,Hey don't get up!!"Harry said putting her back down gently " I'm sorry! I just wanted to light up the room"he said making selena bite her lip " What?"Harry said knowing selena is hiding something because she only bites her lips when she's hiding something "N-Nothing"she stuttered " I known you since forever! What's up?"he asked " okay, well! Harry"selena started off she bite her lip trying not to cry " Diego raped me"selena said crying. He puts his head down knowing that all ready. He hates seeing selena in pain, it makes him feel bad " I know. The nurse told me, I'm sorry"he said holding her hand " He took the one thing I had Harry"selena cried " that douche will pay for what he has done! I promise you!!!"Harry said hugging her.

It's been a few days since everything has happened, Louis and Eleanor called selena hoping she's okay since they heard what's happened! Eleanor wanted to come home to be with selena but she insisted for her to stay, that she didn't want to be a burden, and she definitely didn't want to ruin there honeymoon. Demi has been coming to selena place, hoping she okay. Ever since the accident happened selena has been distant and to herself. Harry come in sometimes but selena kicks him out wanting to be alone. She sometimes plays the piano and when she takes her naps she gets flashbacks of her childhood. Mary is okay! She got out of the hospital the same day selena did. She apologized so many times and selena forgave her.

Selena was right now in her bedroom, she was staring at the big Black piano in her room. She had these flashbacks to when her mother taught her how to play and the great memories. She misses her mother and father so much, but she knows one day she will see them again. She's so lost without them! But she knows she will be okay. Her mother always told her ' No matter where I am, I will always be by your side and with your choices.' The door opened and demi pecked her head inside " Sel?"demi said " Hm..?" Selena said turning her head to face her " uh... Harry is here! Can he come in?"demi asked selena nodded her head. Believe it or not she missed Harry. Harry enters the room and right when she sees him she get off her bed and runs to hug him. He returns the hug with a smile " how you feeling?"Harry asked "I'm good actually!"she said truthfully. She started playing her her hair " Harry..."she said " yeah?"he said staring at her " remember the Dinner we had with your mom?"selena asked " you mean the one you plastered cake on my face?"Harry asked making her laugh, she walked to her bed and took a seat "yeah! You remember"she said surprised "of course!"he said.

He took a seat next to her " You miss them?"he asked she nodded her head " so much Harry! When I was in the hospital I had this nightmare that I lost you"she said " and I had a good dream! The dinner"she continued " I don't want to lose you Harry. When Diego hurt me physically and....emotionally.... I thought I was going to die! I didn't want to live Harry. I felt disgusted! I felt ashamed but the reason why I didn't commit suicide or anything was because of you...... I don't want to lose you Harry, you mean the world to me, I love you"selena said, he smiled " I love you to"he said "no, Harry I actually love you"she said staring into his green orbs " you do?"he asked making her nod " I really do"she said a huge smile appeared on his face " a wise lady told me, I'll know when I'll love someone. And I felt that with you"she said he didn't waste anytime, he placed his lips onto selena. His hands cupped her face and gave her a more passionate kiss. "Ahem" they both break out of the kiss and look at the door seeing demi " sorry to interrupt but... Some cops are here. They want to talk to you"demi said " come with me?"selena asked " let's go"he said grabbing her hand but first he wipped her tears falling down her face. while she's walking down the stairs she's holding onto her side, since she had stitches. She actually had to stich herself sometimes because of nightmares that made her stitch open by the movement.

Once she walks into the living room, she sees Mary on the couch and 2 cops and a lady " Hello?"selena said confused to why their there " Ms.Gomez! I here to ask you questions"the first cop said, Harry helped her take a seat slowly, he took a seat next to her holding her hand " okay! Ms.Gomez, this is simple, I just want you to tell me what happened, Mrs.Rodriguez is here, she's Mr.Flores attorney"the cops said selena looked up and saw the lady with a black matching suit, she looked so professional and intimidating. But that didn't scare her, she's been through hell already. "Okay"selena simply said " Selena, if you don't mind, in recording"the lady said " are you asking or doing?"selena asked with a bit of attitude " doing"she cleared herself. Selena eyed her, " what do you want to know?"selena asked the lady " What time did Diego come by your house?"she asked " he didn't knock if that's what your implying"selena said " He came by my window from my room"selena said crossing her arms " what time will that be?"the lady asked " Idk, I didn't have enough time to look at the clock, look he came in the night! He knocked out my house keeper"selena stated " Did he tell you that?"she asked " yes! He also told me he killed my dad"selena stated firm making her laugh " I don't see why that's funny Mrs."selena said " Look, I'll tell you everything, he raped me and abused me!!! What more can I say!"selena stated she was so angry and irritated by Mr. Flores lawyer. " Did you let him?"the lady asked which made selena beyond angry " Look Mrs. I didn't ask for this!! I didn't ask for him to beat me or take the one thing I had! I didn't ask for any of this"selena shouted and voice cracked at the end " are we done here?"selena asked " Yes!"the cop said getting up. The lawyer grabbed her recorder and selena walked up and walked them towards the door " Oh, selena you have a court to attend in 2 days"Mrs.Rodriguez said leaving selena slammed the door and turned around and bumped into Harry chest, he pulled her into a hug " you did great"he said kissing her forehead.
