for the rest of the day Shinsou couldnt help but feel empty. He hadn't forgotten about the fact that Kaminaris kingdom was fun, it was free, or, that's what he was told. He had a hard time differentiating whether he was jealous of Kaminari or his freedom. His father wasn't helping, he only reminded the young boy of how trapped he was. He couldn't leave, no matter how much he wanted to. And god he wanted to.

The only issue now was how he was going to tell Sero.

Of course, it was easier considering he didn't have to talk this issue out with the Prince himself, he still felt absolutely awful about that whole thing, he was basically harassed in an unfamiliar place by unfamiliar people and had every right to be upset.

It'd just be easier if he wasn't.

He walked into his quarters, changing from a white shirt to a black one, considering the white one was stained red in a few spots, and, Denki seemed like the type to ask questions, so. He cleaned up and gave himself a pep talk.

As he walked over, he felt a wave of guilt brush over him, which, was strange, considering he usually didn't feel anything for his tenants, nor he did for anybody else in that horrid place.

Maybe he admired Kaminari, and the way he didn't feed into anything. He seemed confident; bitchy- yes; though he seemed to have a thing for bitchy, pretty blond boys; with his past with Monoma and all.

Have you seen Hanta Sero, here with Prince Denki?" he asked a nearby butler in the dining hall, trying his best not to look suspicious, and headed down the east wing.

As he approached, the nerves only grew, and, he was shaking a bit. It was strange, it appeared he was, disappointed, about not being able to go. Though, i digress.

He knocked at the other males door, asking for Hanta, though being met with someone, less ideal.

"Hanta Sero? I've come with a response."

"Prince Shinsou?"

Hitoshi froze, this voice not having an accent, but rather an electrifying scratchy tinge.

This,, wasn't ideal.

"Ah- ah, yes, it is I! Prince Shinsou- of- where am i from-"

"just come in."

Shinsou took a deep breath, composing himself for what he assumed to be an angry blond boy scolding him on the other side of the door. He, turned the doorknob and slid inside without saying a word.

Kaminari, though, was sitting on his bed with his back to Shinsou, not bothering to took at him, and when the taller of the two looked over his shoulder from afar, he was closing a book.

"Prince Kaminari-"

"Prince Shinsou, in all your 'glory' i presume. i hope that somebody as unimportant as me could be useful to your highness." He started, though the sentence became more of a mutter as he trailed on.

"Please- Kami; just call me Hitoshi." he clenched his fists, being a prince, he wasn't used to sarcasm, being used against him, anyway.

"I didn't say you could call me Kami."

Hito stood there thinking of something to say and trying not to get angry at the other, he knew he deserved it, the tone, that is.

Which is why he was confused when the blond burst into laughter, turning around and smiling at Shinsou. "I'm kidding, i'm kidding, call me whatever you want- please, Prince, take a seat, please."

Shinsou sat on the edge of the bed, not finding the others act very amusing, so, his face was blank.

"Where is Sero?"

"Why do you want to know? Is there something you want to tell him that you're unable to tell me? Honestly, Prince, he'd probably tell me anyway regardless."

"ah, i suppose you're right, i digress, i've to inform you that i will not be staying at your residency."

"oh?" Kaminari puffed out his cheeks, although, he wanted to look 'professional', whatever that meant- and pretended that he wasn't bothered. "may i ask why? if you didn't want to go that's fine-"

"i asked my father if i could accept your invitation and he declined."

"so; is it you that doesn't want to go, or is it your dad that's restricting you?"

"my father informed me that i am not to attend."

"so you wanted to go?"

"my father said-"

"Just answer the question, Hitoshi. please."

"i supposed i may have enjoyed it, in theory, but i am not to dwell on small things."

"did your father tell you not to dwell?"

Shinsou inhaled, wanting to simply walk out and leave, but, now that he was thinking about it, he did always obey his father. always. he had to.

"yes, my father has trained me to be confident, independent. he's trained me to make a great king one day."

"Shinsou?"

"Yes, Prince Denki?"

"Are you, you, or are you your father?"
