Nishinoya was rebellious. The scariest second year that anyone has known, and he doesn't take shit from anyone. He always wore dark clothes and if he did wear a bright color it was only orange, but that was a rare sight now.

He used to be well known for his bubbly personality, but one day he snapped and it all disappeared. It was a shock to the whole school. The teachers lost control of him. He barely cared for how he addressed his upperclassmen. He's the one kid in the school who wouldn't wear anything close to the dresscode, and can get away with it. He's done too much, practically unstoppable.

On a good day Noya is calm. Calm enough not to start a fight. Maybe not be drunk off of anything. There's also a 70/30% chance that he wore the school uniform that he used to love, incorrectly of course. On a bad day on the other hand, drama was an understatement. The cops have come to pick him up on countless occasions. He's fought so many people in one day. Cursed out teachers. He'd only threaten a girl. He did have a tiny bit of decency to never really touch or hurt a woman. He was a dick, not a full flown abuser. Noya had lost all his friends, lost any care to give, and no one cared for him. Or so he thought.

Asahi was more likely the complete opposite. It was a rainy morning, and he was mere seconds away from being late to his first period class. He rushed to his locker, trying to get through the smallish hallway when he came to an abrupt halt.

"You."

"I- I... Noya~"

"Don't fucking call me that! You fucking giant, can you not see? Do your eyes not work?" Asahi was stunned and scared. Noya was small but not weak. Like stated previously, cops have been involved before. "you make me want to kick your ass."

"Please don't, I just want to get to class." Asahi begged. Part of him wanted to cry, but he wasn't going to. He had to stay strong. The bell rang for class and Noya shoved the senior out his way.

"Screw off." Noya walked off to class, but Asahi turned to look at him, noticing a bruise towards his collarbone.  He shook his head and gathered his two textbooks before moping off to class. As the day went on Asahi realized he wasn't imagining that bruise, and it was honestly bad. It seemed to be a dark purplish color.

"Asahi, why do you care so much for him?" Sugawara asked.

"Because I know something is wrong. I don't understand how everyone can accept that seven months into school, Noya has gotten into so much trouble when he was so good." Asahi murmured. When Noya snapped his head, Asahi did the same, looking down at his food. Noya got up and made a beeline to the men's bathroom. Asahi tapped his leg- which was his nervous habit- before making a quick decision. "I'm going to the bathroom."

"Asahi, no-"

"Sorry captain!" Asahi said to his other friend Daichi. Asahi ran into the bathroom that Boys went into and heard sniffles. After a few seconds Noya came out of the stalls and his eyes were red and puffy. He looked at his ex-friend and scoffed.

"What the hell do you want."

"Why were you crying?"

"I wasn't." Noya gritted and went to wash his hands.

"What's wrong-"

"Leave me the hell alone, Asahi." Noya tried to keep his voice down for once.

"Nishinoya please-"

"No!" Noya yelled. Asahi held Noya and embraced him before Noya could even react. Noya stood stunned, his eyes watering up as if it was second nature.

"Get the hell off of me, Asahi." Noya couldn't yell. He gritted his teeth and when Asahi looked him in the eyes he saw the tears rolling down the second year's. "Get off!" Noya yelled.
