The year was 2022 at a hospital in Houston, Texas. There was a radiologist named Robert, who migrated from Germany, but he had been neutralized as an American last year.
Anyway, Robert was setting the radiographs on the wall until Chuck, the neurologist, entered his office. Well, he knocked then Robert let hin in.
"Robert!", Chuck exclaimed.
"What is it, Chuck?", Robert responded.
"Do you know that old Italian on the second floor?"
"What about him?"
"He wants to see you"
"Why?"
"I don't know"
Robert posted a radiograph on the wall then he followed Chuck as they ascended to the next floor, and they went where the Italian was. The Italian man, his wife wife, and his granddaughter were in the room. Also, there was another man.
"Are you Robert Klaus?", the man asked.
"Yes", Robert answered.
"How do you know Sigñore Costa?"
"I took the radiograph of his stomach", Robert answered.
"According to his beneficiary will, he wants you to have his diary", the man, who was obviously Sigñore Costa's lawyer, explained.
Robert looked at the wife and the granddaughter. The granddaughter refused to look at him while the old woman gave him a nod.
"Robert", Sigñore Costa called him with his weak and dying voice. "I ask you to approach me"
Robert looked at the wife and the lawyer, who consented, and he approached then slowly leaned to the Sigñore Costa. Then, Sigñore Costa asked a question to Robert: "Do you or have you had a girlfriend?"
"No", Robert answered.
"Then, you need to read our story; you need to learn from our pity sake", Sigñore Costa coughed. "I want to share this lesson from an immigrant to another", he offered his diary, and Robert took it.
When Robert returned to the foot of the bed, Sigñore Costa repeated the statement: "From an immigrant to another"
There was a moment of silence until, suddenly, his eyes closed as the support machine halted.
"Nonno!", the granddaughter shouted.
Furthermore, the doctor and his nurses rushed into the room.
"I need everybody to exit!", the doctor commanded.
Robert, the two women, and the lawyer rushed outside the room.
