Nobody's POV
After everyone calmed down and convinced Bakugou to not kill Mineta, Aizawa had called Recovery Girl to the classroom to see what quirk Deku was hit with. Deku was just sitting at his desk quietly trying to control his thoughts and actions as best he could and not speaking at all since he finished singing to Bakugou. Recovery Girl then came into the room, heard the situation and went to inspect Deku.
After a minute or two passed as everyone waited to here Recovery Girl's hypothesis of what was happening then Recovery Girl spoke, "This was a quirk I was recently told about that a young boy has. But it seems that the boy didn't control his quirk very well and Midoryia got hit with it before he got to class today. The quirk is called 'Song Feelings', meaning that whatever Midoryia sings is how he feels. Though not everything he says is how he actually feels since the songs won't always apply every word. But this quirk will end up lasting three days and Midoryia won't be able to control it and he also won't be able to control any actions that happen while he's under the quirks control. So till then I suggest you all just wait and watch what happens and take a few days off of hero training since he obviously can't keep distracting the class or fall behind while waiting for this to pass. I'll talk to Nezu about it. So till this quirk wears off, everyone hang out and see what you can learn about your dear friend here throughout the next three days."
After that she left and everyone looked shocked. 😳
'So Deku really did think that Bakugou was toxic.' The whole room thought.
"I wonder what song he'll sing next?" Asked Mina.
"Oh I hope it's a chill song!" Laminating said loudly.
Deku couldn't believe this, he was hit by a quirk that made him show his feelings through songs and this was gonna last for THREE DAYS!?! He was extremely worried about what they were gonna find out about him that before he knew it, he was singing again.
"He's starting to sing again." said Iida in a matter of fact tone.
Everyone quieted down from their talks about what he would sing next and how crazy this situation was as soon as they heard Iida.
"Oh, I should be fine, but it's all too much..." Deku sang as his breathing started to hitch and a wave of anxiety swept over him.
The whole class stood in shock to see their happy classmate looking like he was about to have a panic attack. Kirishima walked over to Deku and started to say stuff like 'it's ok man' and 'it's gonna be alright'.
Deku then continued singing, making all his classmates start getting really worried about him as he sang...
"I get overwhelmed so easily
my anxiety creeps inside of me
Makes it hard to breathe
What's come over me?
Feels like I'm somebody else
I get overwhelmed so easily
My anxiety keeps me silent
When I try to speak
What's come over me?
Feels like I'm somebody else
I get overwhelmed..." -Deku sang all in one breath and by the end of it he was hyperventilating, trying to get air into his lungs that seemed to be missing.Kirishima helped him to breathe and clam down some. The whole class then knew that their beloved classmate had somethings wrong with him that none of them ever noticed, not even his best friends.
"De-Izuku... are you depressed?" Bakugou asked Deku with a very concerned lookin his face.
All Deku did was nod his head. Which gained a gasp from many students in the room.
