As years pass by , you and Izuku have grown . You are now 15 while he's 16 . You guys were training hard for the entrance exam for UA .
As you're training , you start to notice how good Izuku looks while he sweats .
"Godddd damn" you thought while squatting .
As Izuku punches the punching bag , he ducks , and then swings with a right hook .
You didn't notice that you had stopped squatting and literally just stood there watching him work out .
He notices as he side eyes you asking "What's up?" as he continues punching.
"Oh ! Uh, n-not much," you stutter going back to squatting .
He hums in response focusing on the punching bag .
As your finishing up, you ask "You ready for the entrance exam?"
"Of course I am, I really want to give this thing my all . I can't wait to become a hero !" He breathlessly chuckles .
"No matter how this plays out, I'll always be proud of you , and I'll always be your number one fan," you gush while giggling .
"You better be !" He smiles . "With you cheering me on, I'll do fine," He shyly smiles at you .
"Of course I'll cheer you on," You blush .
"Good, now hurry up and go home . You need rest ," he says hitting you with the towel that was once around his neck
"Fine, fiNe . You're just trying to get rid of me," you say as you walk towards the front door with your water bottle
"I'd never," he says stopping at the door, smiling at you while he watches you walk away .
***********Skip towards the end of the Entrance
"Zukuuuuu , did you get in ?" You ask smiling at the boy with your eyes closed .
When you open them , you see Izuku on the verge of tears as he frowns .
It dawns on you that he didn't get in .
"Oh , Izuku , I'm so sor-" you start as he cuts you off . "Don't worry about it , Adiana, I just need some alone time ." He sadly says
"No, Izuku, I need to stay with you at a time like-"
"I said, I need time alone , Adiana !!" He shouts . You stare at him in shock . He never yells at you .
"I-Izu-" you stutter but he cuts you off again .
"Goddamnit, Adiana , Leave me alone !" He shouts as he walks away from you .
"Maybe he does need time alone," you thought . "He'll be back ," You sadly thought as you watch the boy you were closest with, walk away .
You were so wrong about him coming back, and for the rest of your life, you'd regret not going after him .
You knew the only hope he had left was becoming a hero and saving other people .
With Katsuki constantly bullying him , and him always getting beat up for thinking he could become a hero made you so sad .
You felt sorry for the boy , but with you around , your positivity , and your love there was no way he'd ever leave or think about doubting himself .
but sometimes ..
Some things are just never enough .
