The Nightmares of Hajime Hinata (Komahina)

Nagito's POV

I sat on my phone in Hinata-kun's bed, him asleep right next to me. We've recently been staying in one of our cottages together every night. That's because we're together..

It's so amusing to know that Hinata-kun actually enjoys scum like me!
That's not good taste. First no talent, now no taste in lovers. Come on, Hinata-kun!

He was sound asleep right against me. In his sleep he was much more.. nice? He gets pretty feisty sometimes. He's calm now. His ahoge still isn't though, that thing is sharp.

It was pretty late and I was getting tired. That's when I heard faint mumbling from the guy beside me.

"Hm? Hinata-kun did you say something?"

No answer. Is he sleep talking?

I gently tapped his shoulder in attempt to grab his attention but he didn't budge. Then I poked his ahoge. It hurt.

"Not even that? Definitely sleep talking.."

I put my phone away and lay down. Maybe he's just cold or something. I gently pulled him closer in attempt to get him to quiet down.

"No.. please..."

I could hear him mumbling something. Is he dreaming? Maybe he's having a nightmare.. but what does he have nightmares about? Someone he's not fond of perhaps? Nah.. I'm the only one he's not fond of. Well, who he says he's not fond of. Would he still have a nightmare on me? No.. I'm not even good enough for that!

"..Don't go..."

He started to talk more and more. 'Don't go'? What could he possibly be dreaming about that would get a reaction like that out of *him*?

"..Please....don't leave me.."

..What? Hinata-kun's not the one to sound desperate. If anything he sounds just plain sad or depressed. He sometimes says 'kill me' when I start talking about HOPE. Haha.. silly Hinata-kun.

"..I'm begging you... please stay with me.."

Now what could that mean? He's *begging* for something or someone to stay with him. Strange. The most I've seen him beg is for me to shut up.

"..I don't want to lose you... you're all I really have.."

I... what? Is he having a nightmare about someone close to him leaving him or something? Who could that be...

Nanami? Maybe. Kuzuryu? They are close friends, but I doubt it. Soda? Again, they're pretty close but there's no chance.

"...I love you alright.. don't go..."

Ah. I think I know. Is he really having a nightmare about trash leaving him? Shouldn't he be happy? I think he should.

All of a sudden, I heard a tiny whimper. Did that just come from Hinata-kun? The sarcastic, done with everyone, tsundere, Hinata-kun? That's pretty worrisome if you ask me. Way more worrisome then the chance of someone dying.

"Hey.. Hinata-kun.. wake up.." I shook him a bit more then I did last time. I don't want him to become too worrisome. He still wouldn't wake up, which makes sense because he's a pretty deep sleeper. "Hinata-kunnnn.." I shook him violently.

I sat up and forcefully turned him to face up. I can't see his face from this angle.

Is he... crying?

"Hajime! Heyyy!" I shook him more, switching to his first name because it's somehow more effective. Hinata-kun always likes to whisper 'Nagito, I'm losing hope' or something like that in my ear all the time and it wakes me up.

After around a minute, he still wasn't awake. Wow.. he's really not going to wake up without me basically torturing him, is he? I thought about pouring water on his head but that would be too mean of me. "Don't make me.."

I slowly moved one of my legs over Hinata-kun, so I was now sitting on him. I bent down, making our faces inches apart. His eyes twitched and his teeth clenched, but that's really all I got out of it.

"I see.." I mumbled. "You want me to go further.." I leaned in closer...

I whispered in his ear...

"I'm in love with the hope that sleeps inside of you, Hinata-kun."

"GAH!" He shot up, screaming. His ahoge took out my eye. Ouch. "Komaeda?! What the h-hell?! *Sniff*"

"Be more careful with that thing, Hinata-kun.." I mumbled, holding my eye. "But I woke you up from your nightmare didn't I?"

"How'd you *sniff* know I-I was having a nightmare? Also sorry, you did mumble your creepy line in my ear.."

"You sleep talk." I chuckled a bit. "Also, you're crying."

"Y-yeah.. *sniff* I guess you're right..." He lay on me, completely exhausted from just.. well, nightmares!

"Can you tell me what you had a nightmare about?" I hugged him, trying to comfort him. "How bad could it be?"

"T-they.."

"Ah huh.. go on.."

"T-they left me..!"

"Who, Hinata-kun..?" He hugged me tightly.

"T-they did..!"

"That doesn't answer my question." I gently smiled. "Now.. who was it..?"

"W-well..*sniff*.."

He went silent for a moment, then continued.

"K..."

Aha! I knew it!

"My cartons of Orange Juice left me...!"

"-"

"I'm going to sleep."

"Wait, Ko! I still need comforting! Tell me I still have themmmmm!"

I turned away from my boyfriend who's severely attached to Orange Juice, and went to bed. For once, I was the one done with him.
