"Clothes please~" Izuku threw in a bunch of clothes into his shadow and watch as it all get sunken inside his own shadow. By now, he should be comfortable about what you're doing but every time he can't help but be amazed by your quirk.

"Oh, and I heard classes was almost ending for you, are you still going to go to U.A?" you didn't want to mention the fact that he was quirkless. So all your could do was stay oblivious, even when you knew Izuku knew what you were doing.

"Mhm! I'll still go there and go into heroics!" he was pumped but then he faltered. "But... if I really have no hope, I'll be going to General Studies..."

"Nah, you'll get in for sure! After all, you have me. I can beat up anyone for you, 'cause I'm that awesome." you proudly said. Izuku chuckled at your boast and grabbed a few snacks tucked into his bag.

He threw them down the shadow and heard you munch in delight. "Thank you~!"

"Yeah, yeah. I can't believe you eat those for... breakfast,"

"Psh."

"I swear I'll devour your fucking friend." Izuku tried to calm you down. He could see his own shadow grow bigger and was clenching its fist. "Let me in his shadow! I wanna make that kid payyyy!"

"No! No, we can't do that." Izuku chocked out. "I know what he said was out of the line... but [m/n]-san violence is never the answer."

"Tell that to his fa-"

"No, let's just... go home," Izuku mumbled. Clearly Bakugo's word affected him someway and you could clearly see through him like clear glass. "I'm sure you're hungry, right? Let's stop by that chicken place for now. I think I have enough money here,"

"Meh... you do you, I'll be going there in advance.." you went to find a connected shadow on Izuku's and quickly ran away. Call your self a jerk for leaving that poor boy alone, but you knew he needed to grow up.

Recently, you've been noticing how he's been growing more and more relaxed. You knew he was full support on relying on you but you turned blind and assumed he was still not ready. Now you know and you'll be the one to correct this.

You won't make the same mistakes again. You didn't want Izuku to become like you. Like how you relied on your friend, how you were positive he'd always save you.

Come to think of it, you were ready to blame your friend for whatever happened to you at one point. But then you reflected upon yourself and found out it was you all along.

 Right now, you were already at your favorite food stand but Izuku was still not here. A couple more minutes and you were getting worried. Just then there were yells near where you were and you picked up a few words.

"Villain?"

"...Slime..."

"Ah, shit," you sighed. You somehow got the feeling whatever danger is happening, Izuku was bound to be around.

Looking for some shadow to link, he found one long enough to get closer to wherever the chaos was. Upon entering you quickly zoomed towards the event.

And when you were finally there, you searched for the green bean.

"Izuku you absolute dumbass!" you screamed once you saw him running towards that slimy bastard that was quickly devouring Bakugo. You would like to say he deserved it but you knew better than to stoop down to that level. "Where the fuck are the heroes?!" you sighed in frustration seeing Mt. Lady complain about how she could not access inside.

Just as you were about to step in, a gush of wind was felt and you saw All Might. "All Might! Thank goodness you're here. Save my friend!" although you were too far away for him to hear.

Watching him fight... something about that just makes you alive. Like, for how many years were stuck in the darkness that you've forgotten how to be pumped u by something. And yet, All Might does just that, and instantly you began to remember... to feel.

How alive being a hero can be.

"Why can't you just stay there?! I'd better off fighting that to actually worry about what would happen to you!"

You flinched. Aizawa's words hurt you, he knew you were sensitive but he still chose to say those things.

The two of you had just started hero courses and had officially started battle training. You were happy to be paired with Aizawa but for some reason, he wasn't.

"M-My quirk can help!" you said. "I-I can help you fight them-"

"No." Aizawa ignored your pleas. "Just- just stay here and guard that damn bomb. I'll go off on my own."

But you didn't listen. Secretly following him using every shadow close to him and you were starting to feel iffy. 

What you didn't know, that, that day, was the last time you could ever experience light.

That was the day you began to lurk everywhere.

So! how your quirk works? 

-There's a time limit, about three minutes, so you need to get out and stay out of any shadows for at least 30 seconds before you can go back in again.

-You can travel to any shadows that link. Like, if Izuku's shadow's hand is connected to a street light's shadow, then you can enter the other shadow freely. Like a shadow traveling.

-Because your quirk is called Sink, you can also sink objects and store them into the shadow you're in. And no, you can't sink liquid and gas, just solid.

-You can make the shadow your in move, y'know like peter pan's shadow? You can't control the person. Just the person's shadow.

-You CAN get out of the shadow you're in even if you're trapped... but you'll need Aizawa, or any other quirks that could cancel quirks.

-This quirk was a big inspiration of SL Jinwoo's shadow travel sksksk
