      And the exhaustion settled in,

weighing deep inside her bones.

Her mind pleading to fly,

to fly into the beautiful Dark.

For in the Darkness,

the Stars shined so bright.

Her eyes were drifting into trances

while her eyelashes kissed her cheeks.

The soft wind caresses her skin as it dances,

singing of peaceful lullabies.

Heart beating slowly,

in tune with the beat of  the sweet nothings.

The Sweet nothings promised by Morpheus.

        Oh, how he greeted her.

Arms wide open,

At her, he was Beaming.

So she picked up a paper and pen,

and wrote of her dreaming.

Dearest to my heart I keep,

Shall we meet again tonight,

in the land of sleep?
