"No, it can't be!" My grandfather, the Hokage, answered clearly denying the truth.

Sasuke glanced at the ground seemingly just as disappointed at the revelation he just made. He didn't seem to want to believe it either. But by his tone of voice, I could tell he was telling the truth. Or believed he was. However, I didn't understand. Indura? Ashura? Who were these people? We vaguely brushed up on them at the academy. All I know is that their names were at the center of every Shinobi War.

"You don't think this is a sign that there will be another war?" Shikamaru questioned.

We all then turned our attention towards Sasuke. His eyes were closed and stature stiff. He was in deep thought. The nature of his personality made him hard to read. My mother always told me that it was hard growing up with him in a way because of this. That he was never around or open enough to really show his feelings about anything. Although she knows it there, he has a funny way of showing it. I guess this is what I respected about him. The seriousness he put into a situation. In any battle he is the best ally because his thoughts are always on the problem at hand. It was almost noble.

"It has always been the Otsutsuki clan from the beginning," Sasuke finally broke the silence, "First it was Indra and Ashura, then Hashirama and Madara, then-"

"Then me and you," Naruto was quick to interject.

Shikamaru and I watched as they eyed one another. It was like they knew that they were thinking the same thing. That they understood what this meant for everyone. I stood there stoically as I respected their thought process. Their wisdom rivaling my own. I just wanted to know the truth and I have learned through silence and patience that it would come to me. In time.

The atmosphere of the room was daunting. It was like my grandfather's were speaking in the other's mind. What were they saying? What were their emotions? Both became hard to read. I had always been keen on reading people. My mother told me it was a natural gifted. I always had a feeling if someone wasn't telling the truth or half-truth. It lingered in my stomach like irritation on the skin. Goosebumps always sprout on the back of my neck and throat goes dry. Of course, everyone close to me knows that so they never attempted to hide the truth.

"He is of both brother clans," Sasuke stated.

Did he mean Uzumaki and Uchiha? This had to do with blood. I knew that since the night I faced Chinoshiki. Or was it the fact that I was also a Senju like my father and his father before him. After all the Uzumaki family did originate as the Senju clan. I had also read that both the Senju and Uchiha clans were originally of the Otsutsuki clan. It was the first clan to master the art of ninjutsu. It was like the father of all shinobi. Not to mention that I am also of the Hyuga clan so that meant I am part of a branch clan.

Naruto sighed before falling back in his chair, his facial expression not missing a beat. He was scared. I knew this. He probably doesn't want to live through another war. Him and Sasuke were the reason there was a fourth war. He probably still felt the guilt that the war presented to him at 17 years old. Many of his friends died during that war.

"Naruto," Sasuke said, trying to pull him out of his emotion, "This war has been a long time coming. Since-"

He stopped himself. Since my father was killed. We all thought it.

"Since my father was killed." I broke the silence.

Naruto's face dimmed as he held his head down low.

"In my vision," I calmly said, "he was trying to warn me. I know it."

As I try to read their faces I could tell they were all in disbelief. None of them spoke a word. I could tell they were too afraid to. I just wanted to know.

"My father died being a part of something that has lasted for centuries," I eyed their glances trying to show confidence on a hard subject, for all of us, "It has finally caught up to us, so now we have to take action."

Turning their glances back to me, I became the center of attention. The expressions suggested that they were impressed by my sense of nobility. The three then proceeded to nod as they looked to me to listen to what I had to say.

"What I saw that night in the forest had to have been only a taste of what's to come," I stopped to search my memories, my hands beginning to shake in fear, "Those things I saw, evil things."

Looking up I show them my confidence. But of course, it was only a facade. Inside I was plagued with the images of mass destruction. The blood moon, the dark chakra. All of it.

"A war is coming and I am stuck in the middle of it." I ended.

Their faces stood blankly in fear of me. Then they adjusted themselves in a vote of confidence. They believed in me as I have been trusting them.

We need a plan to stop this war or this would be the end of our world as we know it. I just had a...a feeling.

"To find the answer," Sasuke glanced to me and then to Naruto, "We need to find Karasuki."

My eyes widened at the words. Karasuki. Sasuke's thought process became all too clear. He was right. Our answers lie in the past.
