Part 1 continues

Who was the visitor of the night?
She looked at the monitor.
It was him.

It was the first time he had visited her house since the night they had last made love, the day they said goodbye. They hadn't even sent each other a text message since that day. It had been a long time since he and I had seen each other at the awards today.
He and she would have broken up at the venue, so why did he come to her house?

She hesitated a bit, wondering if she should open the door. She rarely invited people into the house, especially if they were of the opposite sex. He was no longer her lover. Maybe she shouldn't invite him into her home.
But she hadn't talked to him in a long time, and she wanted to talk to him at length. Of course, she hadn't lost her love for him. But they had chosen to part ways in order to respect each other and be happy. Surely she would be able to seal her feelings for him. They were back to being close friends.

'It's not strange to invite a close friend to your home, is it?'

She excused herself and opened the door.

'Good evening. I apologize for my abruptness. I hope my visit is not a nuisance to you?'

He lowers his eyes apologetically.

'No, it's all right. I'm just surprised, that's all. What's wrong?'

'Today was a day for us and our co-stars to celebrate our awards. We can't throw a big party, but why not celebrate with just the two of us?'

He lifts the box of wine in his hand and smiles.

'That's a great idea!'

She smiles and invites him into her home.
He's a little nervous about her house, which he hasn't visited in a long time. Her house seems the same as before, but now they don't have the ritual of kissing each other at the door.

They sit next to each other on the couch for the first time in a long time, chatting over the wine and snacks he's brought with him.

'The wine you brought is good, he said. You're not much of a drinker, but you always make good choices.'

'Thank you for the compliment, I have a good advisor on alcohol.'

'Do you drink too much alcohol?'

'I try to be careful. I used to get drunk and you used to be angry with me, didn't you?'

'Because you came to my house unexpectedly late at night when you were drunk. You were more pampered child than usual when you were drunk.'

She said this and then fell silent.
They both have the same memory in their minds. The kisses he had showered her with on her doorstep when he was drunk were more intense than usual, and she had difficulty standing. He had picked her up and carried her to the bed. It had been a hot night. She spent the next morning in bed for the rest of the day, unable to stand up due to the pain in her body. She was angry at him because she had an appointment to meet with a friend that day and she couldn't keep that appointment. He apologized to her repeatedly and took care of her as he fought a hangover headache. He brought warm milk to her bed and rubbed her back and stomach many times, trying to ease the pain.
And she shouldn't have recalled the memories as they reminded her of the times they were lovers and made her feel awkward. She hurriedly changed the subject.

'...um, when does filming on your new movie begin?'

'...Filming is being delayed right now due to an infection. We don't have a specific date yet. When does your next assignment begin?'

'My next film job is going to be a long time away. Until then I have to shoot commercials and magazines.'

'I think you work a little too hard, don't you? You won't break your body?'

He knows that she collapsed while filming earlier. He remembers how cold it was when he held her as she collapsed, and he is worried.

'I'm fine. Thank you for worrying about me.'

She smiled gently at him.

His mind boggled at the possibility of one.
Maybe she had someone who cared about her now. If her dreams and that someone else's dreams are exactly the same, she may choose to stay with him for the future. It's true that her dreams and his were a little different to begin with, but was that really the reason they should have broken up?

He asked again the answer he had failed to ask her at the awards.

'Hey, do you remember the question I asked you at the awards? Your relationship with your co-star.'

'Oh, you mean him? I don't think you need to worry about it...'

'Do you want to hide it?'

'It's not that I want to hide it....It's just that he's doing me a favor.'

'Have you dated him?'

'I've only been to dinner with him a few times.'

'Are you going to go out with him?'

'No. I'm going to turn down his offer the next time I see him.'

'...'

He was relieved.
She probably didn't belong to anyone else yet.

'What about you?'

'What?'

'Do you have a new girlfriend?'

Why would she ask that?
Does she want him to have a girlfriend soon?

'Why do you ask that?'

'I just want you to be happy.'
