There Secret

Chapter 1

NO POV

It was a normal day in the guild, tables and chairs were flying, drinks were spilling, Gray was yelling at Natsu to fight him, and Natsu was yelling back at Gray. Like I said a normal day in the guild.

At the bar Romeo could be seen drinking a milkshake. When he looked up from his milkshake he saw the guild doors open and in walked a certain short bluenette dragon slayer. Wendy.

WENDY POV

When I walked in the guild I noticed Romeo looking at me. When he saw that i caught him looking he turned away blushing. I word over to Romeo and said "Good morning Romeo." He turned to look at me "Good morning to you too Wendy. I sat at the bar and Mira walked over to us. Good morning Wendy anything you would like?" she asked. "Yes could i get a chocolate milkshake please?" i said. "Right away." she said as she walked away to prepare my milkshake. When i turned to look at Romeo he leaned over and whispered in my ear "Did you bring me my headphones?" he asked. So i whispered back "Yes your lucky you told me you forgot them before I left my room." I said as i handed him his headphones under the table. "What are you two whispering about?" Mira asked as she placed the milkshake on the counter. "NOTHING!" Me and Romeo said in unison. "hmmm i don't know if i believe you two." Mira said as she leaned over the counter. "It was nothing Mira we were talking about.. uh.-" " A job!" i was saying but Romeo cut me off. "Oh really?" She asked. "Yeah I need money to pay rent" I lied. I already paid rent this month but i needed to stop her from interrogating us. I don't want her to know our secret. "Oh okay" Mira said with a smile. "Let's go pick out a job then." Romeo said with a smile. That smile was part of the reason i fell for him. "Okay let's go"i said as we got up to go to the job board. Once we reached the board i whispered to him "Thanks for the save back there." "No problem, don't want anyone finding out our secret" he said with a wink which caused me to blush. "How about this one?" Romeo said as he pointed to a job on the board. "Hmmm let me see it" I said as i grabbed the paper. The job wasn't too difficult and it paid a good amount. The job was to watch 4 kids for a month while there parents went on a vacation. "This looks great. Let's go get it approved." I say as i grab Romeo's hand and drag him to Mira. When we get to Mira i ask her if we can go on the quest. Of course she says yes but then Mira notices something "Hey why are you two holding hands?" Mira asks with a smirk. I blush and look down and see that we are indeed holding hands and i immediately let go. I turn away blushing "S-sorry Romeo." "It's alright Wendy." he says after saying bye to Mira we head out of the guild towards the house of the requester. Once we get far enough away from the guild i let out a sigh of relief and hug Romeo. He was shocked for a second before hugging back. "I know how you feel Wen it's super tiring pretending to be what we're not" he says as he kisses the top of my head. This causes me to hug him tighter as I rest my head on his shoulder. "It's so frustrating that i can't just hug you or even hold your hand without being teased." As I say this he starts to pat my head and whisper in my ear "I understand but think if we are watching these kids for a month then nobody from the guild will be around so we can just act normally." Once he said that I realized he was right no one would see us. We wouldn't have to hide what we are. Once i realize this i look up and gently kiss him on the lips and he kisses back. After a short while I pull away and look up at him and smile before saying "I love you Romeo" He smiles back and says "I love you too Wen" before pulling me into another embrace. Once we finally let go of eachother i clung onto his arm and rested my head on his shoulder as we walked to the requesters house.

TIME SKIP

ROMEO POV

Once we arrived at the house of our employer I was shocked to see that it was more of a mansion than a house. I guess Wendy was shocked too cause when i looked over her eyes were wide and her mouth was slightly open. Adorable. I thought. I walked up to the door and knocked. Moments after a maid opened the door. "Hello may i ask what is your business here?" she asked politely. "Hi i'm Romeo and this is Wendy, we are wizards of fairy tail and we accepted the job to look after the kids." I say back with a smile. "Oh alright please follow me I will escort you to the masters room" the maid said. As we followed the maid i looked around in awe of all the expensive looking furniture and decor. I felt a tug on my hand and looked down to see that Wendy had grabbed my hand. I smiled and intertwined our fingers giving her a light squeeze making her jump a little. Then she looked over at me and made a pouty face. I thought it was adorable so i brought Wendy's hand to my face and kissed it. This resulted in her blushing. I chuckled at the cute blushing girl in front of me. When i looked up i realized we were in front of a large door. The maid walked up to the door and knocked saying "Sir two wizards have arrived saying that they accepted the job to watch your children." I heard a muffled "Let them in" come from the other side. so the maid had opened the door and stepped aside allowing us to walk in. Once we entered the room the maid closed the door behind us. That's when i turned to see a man maybe in his early 30's. "Hello my name is Haru please take a seat." the man named Haru said gesturing towards two chairs.We walked towards the chairs and I sat down once i sat down i was expecting to see Wendy sit in the other but to my surprise she walked over to me and sat in my lap. This caused me to blush a little "Sorry I would rather sit here" she said as she leaned back into my chest. I calmed down a little as I wrapped my hands around her waist and placed my head on top of hers. "That's quite alright I would like to inform you of exactly what it is you will be doing here." he said. I nodded my head telling him to continue. "Me and my wife Ellie will be going on vacation for a month, during this time we ask that you two stay here and look after our children. Our maid, the one who let you in will also be going on break so she will not be able to help you. While we are away i ask that you two watch over our kids, make them there meals, and most importantly that they stay out of trouble." He said while standing up from his desk. He walked over to where we were sitting and held out his hand. "So do we have a deal?" he asks. Since i can't stand up with Wendy in my lap I just held out my hand and grabbed his and shook it smiling. "You've got yourself a deal." I said. "Great. Now let me call my wife and ask her to bring in the children." he said. He walked over to his desk and picked up a communication lacrima. He picked up the lacrima and pressed it and put it to his ear and spoke "Hello dear could you and the kids come to my office to meet the babysitters" Haru said. We couldn't hear what the other person said but Haru responded with an okay and a thank you. "They will be here momentarily please make yourselves comfortable until then." Once he said this I started to feel Wendy shake a little. I leaned towards her ear and whispered "What's wrong?" I asked she turned towards me a little and whispered back "I'm a little nervous what if they don't like me?" she said. I chuckled a little at her statement and she gave me a confused look so I whispered "What's not to like about you, your sweet, your kind, your funny, and don't forget cute." This caused her to blush so i leaned down and planted a kiss on her cheek. "but don't forget your also mine and i'll never leave you." I said with a grin. This caused her to turn around in my lap and envelop me in a big hug. Of course i hugged her back. Then I heard a knock on the door and remembered we weren't alone. "um Wendy remember we're not alone right now." When I said this she looked up at me looked around the room and saw the other people this caused her to turn red and bury her face in my chest. I lightly chuckled at my adorable girlfriend. I looked towards the door and saw who i guessed was Ellie and four little kids. I guess these are the kids we have to look after. I looked towards Ellie and introduced myself  "Hi i'm Romeo and this is Wendy" i said gesturing to the bluenette in my lap. "Hello it's nice to meet you i'm Ellie and these are our children from oldest to youngest we have Izuku, Katsuki, Shoto, and our baby Denki." she said gesturing to each kid. When she was introducing the kids i noticed Wendy look up from my chest to see the kids. Izuku looked really nervous while Katsuki just looked angry at everyone, Shoto had an emotionless look on his face and Denki was just grinning stupidly. I whispered to Wendy "I don't really want you to but could you get up so we could meet them?" I said. She got off of my lap looking a little sad that she had to get up. We walked over to the children and leaned down to there level "Hi i'm Romeo and this is Wendy we'll be looking after you guys for a little, while your parents go on vacation." I said with a smile. Izuku and Denki just smiled at us, Katsuki grunted in approval and Shoto just nodded. Then Katsuki asked something "You guys are mages  right?" "Yeah i'm a sky dragon slayer and Romeo uses fire magic." Wendy said. Katsuki's eyes lit up when he heard i used fire magic. "Can you show us your magic?" He asked. "Maybe later right now i think we should finish up talking to your parents." I said. He frowned when he heard that i wouldn't show him my magic but he nodded meaning he understood. I stood back up and looked towards there parents and said "Where would we be staying this house is a little far from where we stay?" I asked. "Well you would stay here of course." she said with a gentle smile. "Oh okay" i said. "Now should we have the maids prep two rooms or would you two like to share a room?" Haru asked. "We'll share a room if that's ok." I said. "Alright then." As he walked away to tell the maids to prep the room Wendy leaned towards me and whispered "Are you sure we should share a room?" "Yeah, I mean we both know you would come to my room in the middle of the night anyway." i said teasing her. She blushes and lightly hits my arm
"H-hey I would not." she said. I just laughed at this and pat her head. I heard a knock an the door so I looked and saw the maid who let us in come through the door "The room has been prepared for you." she said. "Thank you but if we are staying here we should inform our guild and get our necessities." I said. "That is no problem you can go and do the things you need and come back tomorrow before we leave." Ellie said. "Alright thank you we will return tomorrow." Wendy said as she grabbed my hand and we started walking towards the door. Once we said goodbye and we're outside Wendy let out a sigh of relief. "That was so stressful." "I know i'm so glad we got the job though this seems like it will be fun." I said grinning. "Yeah plus we don't have to pretend so we can just be ourselves" she said as she stood on her tippy toes to give me a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah now let's head back to the guild and tell the what's going on... but first" I said as I pulled Wendy in to a long kiss. She put her arms around my neck and ran her fingers through my hair pulling me closer wanting more and i placed my hands on her hips pulling our bodies closer together. After a minute or two we pulled away panting with a thin layer of saliva between us. Once we calmed our breathing i said "I love you Wen" "I love you too Romeo" Wendy said back. We quickly hugged eachother then set off towards the guild but we made sure not to be holding hands so we don't raise suspicion.
