The next couple weeks following the rescue were pretty hectic. Both Orders were scrambling to help those that were hurt by Hadrian, Cassie, Romeo, and PAMA. Ivor practically babied Harper, constantly checking her bruises and cuddling her. Harper didn't mind the cuddles, but she was worried that Ivor had been overreacting. The two were currently in Ivor's room. Harper was in the bed, sitting propped up on some pillows. Ivor, on the other hand, was vigorously working on some potions of healing and regeneration.

"Ivor, I'm fine!" Harper reassured Ivor.

Ivor turned to face her from his potion stand. He knew she was fine, but something in him made him believe that she wasn't fully okay.

Ivor sighed, "For the last time, Harper! You are not 'fine'!"

Ivor proceeded to get up from the desk and walked over to the bed Harper had been resting on. He sat next to her, his feet dangling off the side of the bed. Ivor lowered his head as he looked down at the floor, sighing.

"Harper, you don't realize how worried I was about you," Ivor said sadly.

Harper gave him a saddened look, "I do know. I was worried that I would never see you again."

Ivor looked back at her. He noticed how her eyes were shiny and there were tear stains running down her cheeks and chin. He sighed and cupped her damn cheek with his hand. He leaned in and kissed her on the lips. She melted into the kiss almost instantly. This kiss was almost welcome to her.

But then, Harper's mind turned against her. She started to think back to when Hadrian first started targeting her and Mevia. She could almost feel the phantom sensation of Hadrian's hands on her hips. She thought of how Hadrian had forced her and Mevia to kiss; otherwise, he would have killed the both of them. The thought of kissing her bestfriend and cheating on her loving husband haunted her.

Harper immediately pulled away from the kiss and turned away from Ivor. Ivor gave her a confused look before skootching closer to her. He wrapped her his arms around her waist and gently pulled her closer to him. This caused Harper to silently start crying. She sniffed bit as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"What did he do to you?" Ivor asked softly, albeit a bit threateningly.

Harper sniffed, "I'd rather not say."

"It's okay, I won't get mad," Ivor reassured her.

Harper calmed down a bit, "While I was trapped, Hadrian forced Mevia and I to submit ourselves for his own personal pleasure. And during one of those times, he forced Mevia and I to kiss or else he would have killed us."

Ivor looked shocked as Harper turned to face him. Of course he was upset, but not at Harper nor Mevia. He knew Harper didn't mean for anything to happen. But it was over with, and Ivor knew that he shouldn't get upset with her over something Hadrian had forced her to do. Instead, he raised his arms up around her shoulders and pulled her into a comforting hug.

"It's okay. It's over now. Hadrian and the others are gone," Ivor reassured her.

Harper mumbled, "I'm sorry..."

"Sh~ it's okay. I'm not mad at you or Mevia," Ivor said softly.

Harper didn't speak anymore. She knew he was right. There was absolutely no way that Hadrian or the others could even hurt her, Otto, or Mevia ever again. She just sat there, crying into Ivor's shoulder. Ivor didn't move, he didn't speak, he just let her let out her sorrow on him.

After a couple minutes, Harper and Ivor pulled away from their hug. When pulling away, Ivor gave her a gentle peck on the cheek.

"Well, I need to go check on Mevia and Otto. Knowing what happened to them both, they're probably pretty shaken," Ivor said as he started up out of the bed.
