Damn, I should really get to sleep. I sighed as I put away my phone. I had decided to check out Mira's Instagram and.. well... you saw what happened. It seems like she finally knew the type of body she had and how to flaunt it. That's trouble for me. Before, you she used to only wear oversized black hoodies and leggings. Not that those outfits weren't bad, they were just easier to handle.

I put my phone on silent and plugged it in. I set my alarm then rolled over, letting the various scenarios running through my head bring me to sleep.

6:03am *insert that annoying iPhone sound*

Why do I need an education? I slammed my hand on my phone, accidentally sending it flying into my face. "Fuck" I groaned, rubbing my forehead. I sat up and looked around my room, questioning whether it was worth it. It's only the second day and I want the year to be over already.
*30 min later*

"THERES NO CEREAL" I yelled out, looking at the bare cabinet.

"BUY YOUR OWN NEXT TIME" my mom yelled back. I sighed and popped 2 slices of bread into the toaster. I got out the peanut butter, and made my hot chocolate. The toast popped out, making me jump. Why does it have to jump like that? Why can it just ding and slowly rise?? I scarfed down my breakfast, grabbed my car keys, kissed my mom and grandma goodbye, and rushed out the door.

I arrived at the school feeling kind of nervous. Because of Mira? I wonder what her outfit is like.
I got out of the car, and was greeted by Lucas, who looked like he got hit by a truck and then dragged by the wolves to be eaten, barely escaping. I'm sure he wouldn't get lost because his hair was sticking out in various ways like a compass.

"The fuck happened to you?" I asked him, gesturing my face and hair.

"Got drunk" he mumbled running a hand through his hair. A few girls walking by slowed down, in awe of his visual. I laughed out loud. Even though he has a boyfriend, he's too much of a flirt for his own good. Ten was so infatuated with Lucas. And Lucas had a sweet and soft spot for Ten. It's the type of love that makes you feel so single and it makes you want to find your true love. Which is bullshit.

We made our way into the building to our first class. We both had AP Spanish that we had with the other boys. We goofed off the entire class, the teacher not even bothering to pay attention to us.
* two classes later- chemistry*

Why do I actually feel nervous? I've known her for years, grow some balls man. I tried to mentally prepare myself for the class, only to find out that Mira wasn't even at school today.

"Aw, poor Jaehyun, your lil girlfriends not here today" Johnny teased after he saw my disappointed face.

"Do you miss her?" Lucas joined in, talking in a baby voice.

"Shut up, I don't feel shit" I forced the lie through my gritted teeth. I walked over to the empty table and tried not to let her absence distract me. But I couldn't help but think if she was okay. I'm sure she's fine and was probably to lazy to come to school. Though I was sure she got rid of that habit when we started high school.

"Jaehyun, An alkane is obtained by decarboxylation of sodium propionate. The same alkane can be obtained by what?" The teacher's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at her with the biggest confused face. I saw Johnny and Lucas try to hide their giggles, failing miserably. I noticed one girl in particular look at me with concern.
