about a month and a half have passed and it was now march. springtime was here, the weather not as cold but not hot either it was nice. flowers were blooming, the sun was shining, and more people were out doing things.

throughout the time period of them living together, they've gotten closer. yoongi sleeps with jungkook every night now because he can't sleep without him. jungkook has taken yoongi to many different places in the city for him to explore. they had learned so much more about each other throughout their time together.

both of their feelings grew more intensely for the other but neither of them spoke about it. yoongi loved the way that jungkook would take care of him in or out of little space. he'd do anything in his power to make sure that yoongi was always happy and thanks to jungkook he was.

he loved the way that jungkook looked at him and his eyes sparkled like he was the most precious thing on earth. or how he was so gentle with every touch or word he spoke to him. he loved to watch the way his eyes crinkled whenever he smiled or laughed. in conclusion, jungkook was absolute perfection in yoongi's eyes. or even just listening to his calming heartbeat.

the same went for jungkook, he admired the younger's gummy smile, round nose, and cat-like eyes. he loved the way his face would scrunch up indicating he didn't like something. he adored the way yoongi would turn a deep shade of red and get shy whenever he complimented him. or watching him sleep in the mornings because he looked like an angel.

jungkook needed yoongi to be officially his and he was gonna change that. today.

jungkook texted jin a few days ago asking him if he could set up a picnic dinner for him and yoongi. jin agreed and had gotten everything set up for them and texted jungkook when everything was ready.

nervously he stood up and from the kitchen island walking over to yoongi who was sat on the couch. "hey uh i was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" he questioned. yoongi's face turned red at the question he was just asked. jungkook wanted to take him on a date?

"y-yes, when?" he shyly asked. "in like 30 minutes? if that's okay with you" jungkook responded.

yoongi immediately jumped off the couch and ran into his room to find an outfit to wear. why would jungkook wait so long to tell him that? he took a quick shower and brushed his teeth. slipping on his lightly colored skinny jeans and a white loose sweater which he tucked into the front. he didn't know if he was too underdressed or not but it didn't matter as he slipped on some shoes.

walking out of the room he stopped in his tracks once he saw jungkook. he was wearing black skinny jeans that ripped at the knees, with a wine red button-down that was tucked in. the familiar voice broke his stare," ready?" he asked earning a nod.

they made it to where the picnic site was before the sunset which was perfect. as the sat down on the soft blanket yoongi couldn't help but admire what jungkook put together. the candles that held the blanket down, the flowers he gave to him, and even the food.

the basket was filled with all different types of fruits, sweets, and each of their favorite things. "t-thank you hyung you didn't -

"i wanted to do it, love and i also wanted to tell you something," he spoke taking a deep breath. "o-okay," yoongi whispered.

"i-i know that it's kind of soon, but i-" he trailed off wiping his sweaty hands on his pants. "it's okay, take your time," yoongi stated understanding how jungkook felt.

"i really like you yoongi and it may be too early but i know that my feelings for you are strong. i love being with you at all times of the day and seeing you smile. i enjoy taking care of you all the time and just being with you makes me happy and i just want you to myself. you just do something to my heart a-and i don't know how to stop it b-but i don't want to," jungkook babbled.

"i really like you too," yoongi confessed.

"and.. wait what?!" jungkook exclaimed surprised.

"i-i like you too and i feel all of those feelings too i just thought you wouldn't like me back," yoongi informed playing with his fingers out of nervousness.

"nonsense baby, you're perfect"

yoongi was feeling so many emotions that he didn't even respond. jungkook took a shaky breath, eyes locking with yoongi's as he spoke, "yoongi, will you be my boyfriend?"

not being able to hold his emotions anymore, yoongi let out a sob and covered his face, "yes," he whimpered out. "aww baby don't cry," jungkook cooed, bringing yoongi to straddle in his lap.

after jungkook calmed him down he fed both of them as they watched the sunset just enjoying each other's company.

"hyung? can i ask you something?" yoongi asked receiving a hum from jungkook.

"whenever i turned one," yoongi started.  he told jungkook everything that happened with his home life that he remembered. his father leaving, his mother's verbal abuse, and everything up until him running away. he told jungkook that he didn't mind suffering since it got them together.

of course, he started sobbing which lead to jungkook rubbing his back and playing with his hair to soothe him. "thanks for telling me, baby you're so strong," he praised.

he raised yoongi's head from his shoulder and looked into his puffy red eyes, "can i kiss you?" he asked caressing his cheek softly. yoongi nodded.

yoongi didn't know how to kiss so he closed his eyes and waited for jungkook's guidance. soon he felt a pair of soft lips on his slowly starting to move. catching on to the rhythm, he wrapped his arms around jungkook's neck as the older placed his on his hips.

their lips fit together so perfectly like puzzle pieces. nothing else mattered at this moment except for the other. they were in pure bliss it felt as if time stopped and there were fireworks going off in the distance. they felt like they were the only ones on the planet in each other's arms. 

jungkook kept the kiss innocent, not wanting to take it too far. they pulled away resting their foreheads together and staring into the eyes of each other. "let's go home baby," jungkook said.

whenever they got home jungkook took yoongi's pants off and laid him in bed so he could get changed. after he changing he laid down bringing yoongi onto his chest. he kissed his boyfriend's forehead whispering a small 'goodnight kitten' before falling asleep.
