Chapter 40

"Is it really..you?"

She slowly nodded her head. Her face changed a little bit, having those wrinkles and eye-bags below her chinky eyes.
It is her, my mother.
Disappointment,madness,frustration filled my mind and heart and flowed into my veins. "Why did you leave me?" Tears were streaming down my cheeks. She looked up to me and cried. "I'm sorry my child."

"You left me alone with a monster! Treating me like a slave and even hurting me!!" I looked at her with my blurry eyes. "I'm really sorry. Are you okay now?" She tried to smile, looking me with those chinky eyes.

"What? What kind of question is that? Why do you even care right now? You didn't even care for me for years!! You didn't even thought of me! What kind of mother are you?" I pointed her with my finger and nudging her hardly. The blood rose up to my head. "Why did you even give birth to me??"

As I was nudging her hardly, I pushed her causing her to break down on the floor. I know she can see the pity in my eyes. But I just looked away and gulped. "Welcome back." I straightened my shirt and went outside the door. But someone held my shoulders, as I looked up, I saw Luhan's red face. "She's your mother Zinari! Why did you do that??" He looked at me in the eyes, and I can see the disappointment there.

I was back to my thoughts, I looked back and saw my mother crying on the floor with her face buried with those hands. Then guiltiness filled my mind and heart. That made my chest tight as ever. I can't take it. So I ran out of the house with tears. I heard Luhan called my name but I didn't look back. And find a taxi and went home.

As I opened the door, there was a reflective silence filling the first floor, no one was there. I closed the door as hard as I could and brought myself into the rooftop. There, I cried all the pain. "You already met her?" That voice stopped me from crying, as I looked at the door, there was Sehun with concern in his eyes. I nodded and patted the side of the bench for him to sit. He did and patted my shoulder. "Then why are you like that?"

I took a deep breathe and tried to speak "I-it's just, I thought about why did she do that to me." He sighed as he hugged me. "You should be happy cause she's already here. But for now I will let you cry the pain that you have there." He pointed my chest and hugged me again. "Cry it all out." With that word I cried it all out. Burying my wet face on his chest. Holding his strong arms. All I remembered was, I fell asleep in his arms.

I heard a voice near me, "Is she already okay?"
"I don't know. Maybe she is." The other one replied I knew it was Sehun. As I opened my eyes. Sehun and Mom were sitting at the edges of my bed. Then there was bitterness again in me. "Why are you here?" I asked as my eyebrows met. Before she could speak, Sehun answered me trying to explain everything. "Uhh, she..she's going to stay here for good."

"She? Going to stay here??" I swatted the blanket and jumped out from my bed. "Then I'm leaving!" I shut the door and went downstairs.

"Ya! Zinari!" Kai called, but before he was about to call me again, I run outside and went to the park.
