As soon as harry left, louis aunt Amelia started talking. "Are you crazy louis?" Louis head immediately dropped. "I'm sorry! I just do-"
"no. We're going right now to the hospital if you don't-"
"stop! Fine I'll take the pills! Just please don't make me go back there"

They kept cutting each other off. A tear fell from louis eye that he quickly tried to wipe away. He didn't like crying in front of others. He sat down and put his palms to his face.

Aunt amelias face immediately turned from anger into regret. She sat next to him holding him. "Honey, you know I just want you to be healthy. You know you have to take the pills, it- it's just" she couldn't seem to get the words out. But they both knew what she was gonna say. "I know, I just don't like what they do to me."
"I know, but they're helping your headaches go away. You're gonna be in a lot of pain, the surgery was only a month ago Lou, keep that in mind." More tears came out of louis eyes.
"They change me, they make me act like, I'm not me. I-ive already flushed them down the toilet. We can't use them now." Louis said.

"Louis those are expensive... you have to re-"

"Yes! I know! They're helping my headaches that are caused from the surgery I had to get because I have cancer! Brain cancer." Louis voice was trembly as he said that. He still hasn't accepted that. "And I know, that any day now.. I can just- just die, because the surgery isn't enough to stop it. But stop treating me as if I'm a baby! I'm an adult." Amelia didn't say anything, she just sat there. "Where'd you hear it won't help? We don't know that." Amelia said. "Yes we do. I heard you and the doctor talking after the surgery. You two aren't very quiet."

Amelia didn't say anything, because it was true. Louis didn't have much time left.

"Can you please just not tell Harry. He's my only friend. More so the only person that treats me normal. You and mom treat me as if I can't do things for myself."

"Yes I can do that, just please, be careful Lou. And sweetie you have to take your pills. They're gonna help the headache you have right now."

"I don't have a headache." Louis said denying the truth.
Amelia got the pill case out of her back pocket as if she was prepared for this exact moment. She got up and got him water, as he swallowed the pills.

Amelia and louis both knew the way that the pills made him act. They made him have a short temper, made him bipolar, made him distance himself from people, and loss of apitite. Which louis hated. His most favorite thing in the world was food. And when he took the pills, he didn't even want that. The side affects of the pills only lasts for a whole 24 hours after the pills are taken.

And although the pills helped his headaches, louis would rather have pain and be he himself than not himself and be in no pain.
