I walked into Jeff and Fallon's office.
"Little Carrington what are you doing here?" Jeff asked.
"I'm here on work experience. I got suspended for two boys fighting over me." I said. Jeff shook his head at me.
"Seriously." Jeff said.
"Not my fault I'm so hot the guys or the girls can't stay away." I said. Fallon walked in about an hour later.
"Please tell me one of those is for me." Fallon said looking at the two cups of coffee on Jeff's desk.
"It was but I don't know how hot it is anymore." Jeff said.
"Well I just spent an hour and a half on a medieval torture device called a reformer thanks to your sister." Fallon said. "You don't have aspirin do you?" Fallon asked.
"Maybe this will make you feel better." Jeff said handing Fallon and envelope. "My counteroffer."
"Wait. You actually gonna let me buy you out?" Fallon asked.
"It may have been my money but this company has your soul. Took me some time to realise it but Morell should be yours. The lawyers can figure out the rest." Jeff said.
"Well what made you change your mind?" Fallon asked.
"Monica may have nudged me in the right direction." Jeff said.
"Well whatever she said thank you Jeff. You have no idea how much this means to me." Fallon hugged him.
"I do if you're luck enough I'll throw in some aspirin." Jeff said. Then left.
"Wow so he gets a hug and I didn't even get a hello or a smile. At least I know you got your priorities straight." I said.
"And you almost look presentable. I didn't even recognise who this new person is." Fallon teased.
"I got aspirin as well." I said putting a packet on the desk. Sam walked in.
"What do you think?" Sam asked about his suit.
"You're asking the wrong person." Jeff said.
"You're 45 minutes late." Fallon said.
"I got here before you." I said.
"I thought 9 was more of a suggestion." Sam said. Fallon's desk phone rang.
"Okay can you get that? Just take a message." Fallon said. "Steven's about to tell Daddy that he's running for office and he needs me there." Fallon said.
"Am I coming?" I asked.
"Nope. Daddy thinks your in college." Fallon said grabbing her folder. Sam answered the phone.
"Are you happy with your phone and internet service?" Sam asked Fallon. Fallon hung up the phone.
"Alright you know what. We'll work on that later. For now let's play to your strengths." Fallon said.
