Part 9- The kiss

"Thanks for tonight. It was the best night ever ... "Then she kissed me on the cheek and walked out. Then I drove home to meet a probably very angry Erik...

When I walked in the door of the apartment to me and Erik wasn't late to ask about where I had been since I didn't want to come. I pretended I didn't hear him. Maybe I could avoid having to respond, but with Erik that of course wasn't possible. "Where have you been Harry?" He tried. He didn't sound angry. Why would he bother with where I had been? All the boys looked at me as if they didn't know the answer. "Um ... bowling with Gemma" You could see he was doubted my answer "And that was so IMPORTANT that you couldn't come?" Now I was angry. He didn't have the right to sneak around in my private life. "Yes! She is my sister for crying out loud!" I'd never said something like that to Erik before and he seemed pretty shocked himself. I didn't want to say it, but I had to "sorry ... I just haven't seen here in a while." He nodded before he got to the real point that we were called in to this 'band meeting'. "I know this is a short warning, but we just have to do it," Niall obviously couldn't wait to hear what he had to say "Do what?" Erik breathed out "Let me finish Niall. Your Aussi tour has been moved so we have to leave earlier..." Only now I was aware of what he was saying. "How early?" He picked up the phone and looked at while he said "Not tomorrow, but the morning after." SHIT! "How long are we going to be gone?" Lou had understood that if I asked more Erik would start to wonder. So he helped me a bit. "Tree weeks" three weeks? How could I stand three weeks without seeing the beautiful face of Mia? And how was I supposed to tell her?

Mia's POV:

The night with Harry had just been fantastic! I couldn't wait to see his gorgeous face again. And then we almost kissed. Oh God. I think my heart was about to jump out of my chest. I wonder what it was Louis wanted that was so important. It was probably just that they were going to an interview or something, or they were just empty of carrots ... I checked the phone several times before I went to bed and as I almost fell asleep it beeped. I looked at the phone and my heart raced along as I see it's from Harry. Maybe he is going to tell me what had been so important earlier in the day, but the message was a little message that warmed my heart"Just wanted to tell the most beautiful girl that tonight was the best day in my life so far, and good night . Harry Xx" It was just before I started to scream ... He is just absolutely wonderful! I answered, "Aww you are just amazing! My best day too! Good night handsome. Mia Xx" I giggled a little to myself that I had just written that he was handsome. He was, but I had somehow not told him yet. Then I fell asleep...

I woke up once more by the sun. I should get me some blinds. I picked up the phone to see the clock. It was half 10. I also got a message from Harry "Good Morning Sunshine. How about a walk with me today, just to talk? Call me when you wake up. Harry Xx ". I pressed the number on his cell phone and then press the green button. It rang twice before he answered. "Heeeyy! Finally up!" The clock wasn't more than 10 and he said finally up ... "Yup." I couldn't think of anything more to say. It was he who wanted me to call him. "So you saw my message? Are you ready? I'll be there in 10". We said goodbye and I hung up. I came suddenly realised that he had said 10 minutes. I had to hurry to get ready. I looked quickly out of the window to check the weather, it was fine. I put on a white denim shorts and a pink t-shirt. Then I put up my hair in a ponytail, put on some mascara and brushed my teeth. Just when I spit out the water after rinsing the mouth the doorbell rang and I went to open up...

Harry's POV:

The door slid gently. God I had missed that face. Even when she was tired she was beautiful. We stood for a while to just look at each other before I took the initiative and spoke "Are you ready?" I smiled and she did the same. She didn't answer. She just walked out the door and locked it behind her, then she put her keys into the pocket of her shorts.

We continued along a row of small houses before we came down to a small lake. The water was crystal blue. We had barely talked the whole way. I knew what I was going to tell her. I just did not know how. I stopped when we stood on top of a huge rock lying in the water. Mia took off her shoes and sat down with her feet in the water. She turned her head to talk to me "Something wrong?" She had a worried expression on her face. I took off my shoes. "No not at all" I pulled off my t-shirt and started unbuttoning my pants "HARRY! What are you doing??" She turned away (probably just out of pure politeness) as I pulled down my pants too. Then I ran towards the water. I jumped bomb into the water with a giant splash. Even under water I could hear her scream. I went to the surface and the face that met me there was just priceless. It was obvious that she was trying to be angry, but I just smiled and then she began to laugh. I had heard her laugh before, but I get overwhelmed every time. Then she stood up. It would certainly have been more polite of me to turn around, but I couldn't. She pulled off her t-shirt and shorts. Now she had only a panty and bra on. She smiled a sly smile and before I could react, she was on the way to take the bomb on me.

When her head came out of the water, she met my gaze. We were both standing at the bottom. I walked a little closer to her, my eyes still fixed on her eyes. We were so close now that our foreheads almost touched each other. I went a little further and now our foreheads met. I remembered how we had been interrupted by the phone last time we almost kissed, but it was on land now. I put my head lightly to one side. She smiled playfully at me. So I closed my eyes and leaned in to kiss her. Plops! She ducked under water. I waited for her to get up, but she never came. This started to become a little embarrassing, but I had to admit that I liked the way she played with me. Suddenly I felt someone jump on my back. She held her arms over my shoulders. I felt her legs twist around me over the hip. I turned my head to look over my shoulder and just as I turned around she leaned forward and our lips met. She continued to kiss me and I didn't hesitate to kiss her back. Then she paused, but only to slip down from my back so I could turn around. I put my hands on her cheeks. She smiled as I bent forward to kiss her again. I stopped and lightly put my hands on the back of her thighs and lifted her up. She twisted her legs behind my back. She put her hands on my cheeks and kissed me. As we kissed, she took one hand behind my neck and twisted it into my curls. A feeling spread inside of me and it was just fantastic. I just hope she feels the same.

We got dressed again and were heading back to the apartment when her phone rang. She talked about being stuck in traffic and a jog or something before she hung up and turned to me "I'm sorry ... I forgot that I had to work today. I got to go now, but I'll call you later ok? "I just smiled at her as she kissed me on the cheek, turned and jogged off. I followed her with my eyes until she disappeared around the corner. So I continued toward her apartment because my car was there. And when I sat in the car to drive home I regretted immediately that I had not told her that I would leave in the morning.
