Part 23- Crushed

I smiled weakly, but his frightened face did not disappear. He stood up and backed slowly out the door. "Wait! Don't go". He just continued and then he was gone. A tear rolled down my cheek.

Niall's POV:

We were on our way to the hospital again to visit Mia. She's apparently awake. Harry is certainly very happy now that she has opened her eyes. They're just absolutely perfect for each other. And I love both her and Harry. She's a like a lovely girl. The car pulled into the parking lot and we went out. Liam, Louis and Zayn were also with me. We went into the hospital. Just when we had entered the main door Harry came running towards us. He was completely dissolved in tears. He just ran without noticing us. He just ran right through us and out. I turned around and looked at the others. "You guys go check on Mia and I'll go talk to him" It was Louis who spoke. I just nodded and then me, Liam and Zayn just continued into the hall, up the second floor and over to her room.

When we arrived at her room a nurse were there. She held Mia's hand. I knocked gently on the door. "Come in" it's a weak answer, but I hear it and open the door. I was mildly shocked when I saw her. She looked so tired. She was papered of bandages and plaster. Previously I hadn't realized how much she got hurt in the crash, but now I see and it was a lot. The nurse stood up and spoke "I'll get you some chairs" "thanks". There was only one chair in here. I sat down in it. Liam and Zayn was standing until she came back with a few chairs. "Mia ... What the hell happened to you?" She looked upset at me and replied, "I'm I dreaming right now?" poor girl she was in shock too "No ... you're alive. You surived" she smiled faintly, but pulled it right back in pain. "Harry also told me that ... i just did not believe it." That's when I remembered the meeting with Harry on the way in here. "Yeh What happened to you and Harry by the way? We saw him running out of the hospital" I looked back at Liam and Zayn. They looked worried. "I asked him why he would visit a random girl like me in the hospital since I do not know him, and then he just ran out. I guess I should be asking you about the same, but I'm afraid you'll run out too" Right when she finished speaking, the nurse came in with several chairs. I got up and went with my nurse out. "She has lost her memory and you did not care to tell us??" I almost screamed at her. "We just found out" I backed a couple of steps back as I stood right up in her face. "What else? How long back?" She picked up a few papers from her pocket and began to read "she simply remembers everything before ..." She stopped a little bit before she said "Before Harry. She also has a broken leg, broken arm, three broken ribs, here jaw is pretty bad, but not broken. She had a brain bleeding and had to be operated a lot to  her head. That's why ... " I did not bother to hear the rest. Poor girl. she must have been thrown around and around and ... "Ok" I took a few deep breaths and tried to calm myself down a bit before I asked her "Is there any chance she might get it back again?"

I'm so angry at myself for writing that Mia lost her memory, but I needed some action. I even get emotional writing this... Well I hope you liked it :D  AND THANKS FOR READING!
