Request - Dennis X Casey Cooke. (Casey gets comforted by Dennis after a bad dream and panic attack )
Dennis had just got back from work and goes upstairs to see Casey, she's fast asleep in bed. He smiles down at her before taking his clothes off and joining her in bed.
An hour passes by and she suddenly sits up fast with a loud cry.
Dennis hears her and wakes up beside her "Hey what's wrong?" he asked softly.
She's sweating and breathing hard, holding a hand to her chest.
Dennis knew straight away she was having a panic attack and was already holding her gently, shushing her as he did.
"Fuck..that was bad" she breathes.
"Shh, your okay" he whispered to her kissing her head softly.
She burrows her face in the crook of his neck, trying hard to settle her breathing.
Dennis takes deep breaths hoping she would copy him as he rubbed her back gently.
Casey tries to breath with him, her heart feels like it wants to burst, she takes ahold of his hand and lays it on her chest "Feel it?"
Dennis feels her heart beating fast in her chest, Dennis kissed her softly, staring into her eyes and stroking her hair. "Remember our first date, we went to the arcade" he told her softly trying to distract her.
She lightly chuckles "Yeah..yeah you didn't want to touch the bowling balls without wiping them off with cleaner wipes"
He chuckled deeply "They were dirty Casey what was I supposed to do?" he protested.
"There was a ball cleaner near by...oh my I walked right into that didn't I?" she laughs.
"It was worth it in the end since I won" he said looking smug.
"Yeah who knew you could roll balls like that"
Dennis smirked "You got me back I recall"
"Yeah I did, didn't I?" she smiles, feeling a little better.
"I call it cheating personally" he argued.
"Pfftt" she waves him off.
"You kissed me as I was about to get a perfect win, you completely distracted me and made me miss"
"It was for good luck"
Dennis rolled his eyes at her "How are you feeling, was it a nightmare again?" he asked her softly.
She sighs "Yes it was, about past shit and falling into it"
"Was it him again?" he asked referring to her uncle.
"Sadly yes..it was mostly just mixed up memories and me falling"
"Well you tell your uncle the next time he tries to hurt you in your dreams I'll come in and deal with him myself" he told her kissing her softly.
"I wouldn't mind that" she kisses him back.
He smiles at her bringing them back down onto the bed "He wouldn't stand a chance, no one messes with my girl, not anymore" he whispered.
"I love you Dennis"
"I love you too Casey"
