"I Wanna Finish What We Started."
Mike sets the radio down on the small table they rolled in, turning it on. Eleven takes off her socks, setting them on the table, then hands Mike his watch. Joyce hands her the duct taped goggles, putting them on she sighs, then is lead to the pool by Hopper and Joyce.
She steps in, one foot at a time, once she's in the middle, Joyce and Hopper let her go, then she sits down and let's herself float.
It's quiet, when the lights in the gym begin to flicker, and go out.
The silence is deafening, it's putting Gracelyn on edge, she's only just met Eleven, and yet she's worried for the girl, as she's breathing a little heavier then normal.
Eleven finally speaks, "Barbara?". Her breathing picks up, and the lights begin to flicker once more, though this time it seems it's because she's panicked.
"What's going on?" Nancy asks.
"I don't know." Mike answers.
"Is Barb okay? Is she okay?" Nancy asks Eleven, as she's starting to panic herself.
"Gone. Gone." Eleven says, through tears, "Gone.". Nancy covers her mouth, to keep herself from gasping or making any noise.
Both Hopper and Joyce take Eleven's hand. "It's okay. It's okay. It's okay." Joyce says, trying to calm the girl down, "It's okay, we're right here. We're right here, honey. It's okay. I got you.", "Don't be afraid. I'm right here with you. It's okay, you're safe. You're okay, honey.".
Eleven seems to calm down some, and it goes back to being quiet once more.
"Castle Byers." Eleven says, "Will?". Joyce gasps, "You... you tell him... tell him I'm coming. Mom is coming." she says, still holding the girls hand.
"Hurry." they hear Will weakly mutter through the radio.
"Okay. Listen, you tell him to... to stay where he is. We're coming." Joyce says, "We're coming, okay? We're coming, honey.".
Eleven's breathing picks up once more, before she suddenly sits up and rips the goggles off, Joyce takes her in her arms, "Oh, okay, okay. I've got you. It's okay. I got you. I got you. I got you, honey. You did so good." Joyce says, holding Eleven tight.
Gracelyn sits with Eleven and the boys, she wraps a towel around the girl, rubbing her hands up and down on the girls arms, trying to help warm her up. She sighs, watching Johnathan follow Hopper and his mother out of the building.
Then she realizes Nancy's not with them. She turns to the boys, "Will you guys be okay if I go check on Nancy?" she asks. "Yeah. We'll be fine." Dustin says. Gracelyn nods, getting up from the bleachers and heading into the next room.
She enters the room just as Johnathan comes beck from outside, they both see Nancy sitting on the ground, back against the wall. They both walk over, Johnathan takes a seat next to her, while Gracelyn takes a seat next to him.
They just sit there, in silence for a moment. Nancy's the first to speak up, "We have to go back to the station." she says, causing both of them to look at her.
"What?" Johnathan asks.
"Your mom and Hopper are just walking in there like bait. That thing is still in there." Nancy says, voice slightly braking, "And we can't just sit here and let it get them, too. We can't.".
"You still wanna try it out?" Johnathan asks.
"I wanna finish what we started." Nancy says, taking a deep breath, "I want to kill it.".
Gracelyn finally speaks up, "What about the boys and Eleven?" she asks.
"No one knows where they are. And if we get that thing, it won't hurt them either." Nancy says.
Gracelyn thinks for a moment, she doesn't want anything to happen to Hopper and Joyce, she wants them to bring Will home, and she sure as hell doesn't want anything to happen to her brother and the others. So she nods, "Let's kill this thing." she says.
Gracelyn, Nacny and Johnathan sneak by the officer that's in the office, rather easily, making Gracelyn want to laugh. They open the door to Hopper's office, Johnathan grabs the box, Gracelyn grabs the gasoline, and on their way out, Nancy grabs a fire extinguisher.
Johnathan pulls into his driveway, the three get out and go for the trunk, each grabbing an item and head inside.
Setting everything down in the living room, they start to screw the christmas lights back in. "Put the bear trap here." Gracelyn says, pointing to the middle of the hallway, so Johnathan starts to nail the bear trap down.
As Nancy loads the gun and Johnathan begins to create his nail bat, Gracelyn pours the gas in a line down the hallway into Will's room and mainly around the trap. Then Nancy and Johnathan begin to set the trap, both standing on either side of it, as Johnathan pulls it open and locking it in place, Gracelyn gently sets the trigger in place, letting Johnathan and Nancy to step away.
"Lay it gently over the chair." Gracelyn says, Johnathan gently sets the yoyo on top of the chair in Will's room. Johnathan and Nancy turn to Gracelyn, "How'd you know how to do this?" Nancy asks.
"I use to build rube goldberg machines with Dustin all the time." Gracelyn says, with a smile, "Now, we need some knifes and some bandages.".
Johnathan comes back to the living room, three knifes in hand.
"Remember..." Gracelyn says, waiting for them to finish her sentence.
"Straight into Will's room. And—" Nancy starts.
"Don't step on the trap." Johnathan says.
"Wait for the yo-yo to move.".
"Then..." Johnathan says, flicking open the lighter, then closing it, "Alright. You guys ready?" he asks.
"Ready." both girls answer. All three of them lift up the knifes to the palms of their hands, "On three." Johnathan says, "One... two... You guys don't have to do this—".
"Jonathan, stop talking." Nancy tells him.
"I'm just saying, you don't have to—"
"Three." Gracelyn exclaims, the three of them then slice their hands.
