SPACE INTERCEPT Part 2

CHAPTER VII ASH 

Ash is the opposite of what it's name is .

Ash is a forested planet except instead of green vegetation,It is always Orange.

There isn't breathable oxygen so we wore our masks but there were water sources and old labs.

This mission was supposed to be very simple .

All we were supposed to do was to explore the laboratory near to where we landed.

The gravity of this planet was the worst so far.

Everything felt way heavier.

Also this planet has humanoid natives.

For the first time I was in charge of an away team and it was terrifying .

But luckily Jacob talked me through it with my earpiece.

The moment I stepped foot on the ground it started pouring rain.

Andrew Immediately started laughing.

He told me that he hasn't seen rain since the world ended.

He loved rain.

Then Robert pointed out a red patch on his arm.

"That's acid guys!We need to find shelter!"I said.

A cave was close by but it was getting dark.

This planet wasn't to my liking.

I don't plan on coming back anytime soon.

Andrew was grabbing his arm in pain ,while Robert was looking out of the cave.

As Andrew was wrapping his wound ,I heard a scream from the back of the cave.

Robert was missing.

At the end of the cave was a gray skinned humanoid that looked normal In every way.

Except he was dead.And there were 5 more of them with him.

All of them were wearing lab coats.

And at the end of the corridor was a black tar monster.

And he was pissed.

CHAPTER VIII BROTHERS 

Robert was still nowhere in sight .

Behind the Tar was a metal door.

I just knew that Robert would be behind that door.

The tar monster charged at Andrew and knocked him on the floor.

Blood hit the pavement as he went unconscious .

As I looked out in horror ,the tar swarmed over Andrew's body and he disappeared.

Robert opened the door,looked out,and closed the door.

I was terrified during the moment.My feet felt planted into the hard rocky ground.

A hand stuck out of the slime and a figure crawled out of it.

But it wasn't Andrew.

As he dived to the ground the tar changed colors and exploded into nothing.

In the corner was Andrew who was still unconscious.

I knew in my mind that the thing was dead,but Robert was still unseen beyond that door.

Then I turned to the other guy.

He was human!

He later told us he was from Earth, but he ran away.
