SAPPHIRE WAS ABOUT TO tell him what had been about to happen, but Enzo's screams prevented her from doing so.
"I SAID I WAS SORRY AVIVAAA!!!! PLEASE DON'T KILL MEEEE!!!"
He ran past them, before tripping on Christian's head.
"AAAAHHH," he screamed as he fell down.
Enzo got up looking around confused, "Who left bodies in the hallway?"
Aviva then arrived with an angry expression before it changed to a disappointed one when she saw the bodies on the floor, "Aww seriously, I missed all the fun."
Sapphire chuckled, "Trust me, this was not fun." Her words making Maddox look at her.
"MAYAAAA WHERE ARE YOUUU!!!" Julian then shouted as he approached.
He smiled when he saw his friends, "Oh hey guys, have you seen Amaya?"
"She must be checking out the mummies," Maddox answered.
Julian frowned, "I already checked, she wasn't there," worry crept in his eyes, "I hope she didn't get in trouble again."
"Again?" Sapphire asked frowning.
Julian sighed as he remembered the memory, "We went on a date to a museum once and Maya absolutely loves anything about history and she got a little too close to certain artifacts so the security took her and when they found some weed in her pocket they took her to the police station."
Enzo's face lit up, "Oh I remember! You called me at like ten PM because your parents didn't answer."
Maddox frowned, "You called him? You were in trouble and that's who you called."
"We didn't have a choice! You didn't answer," Julian scowled, "And anyways it took him two hours to arrive."
"I was sleeping," Enzo whined.
"At ten PM?" Julian deadpanned.
"Sleeping, eating, making graffitis, what's the difference?" Enzo shrugged.
Aviva then spoke, "Maybe we should all go look for her?"
"Should we really go look for her?" Enzo said. "She can defend herself, I'm pretty sure I still have the print of her boot on my back from when I asked her if she was having a bad hair day."
"Why would you even ask her that?" Aviva stared at him.
"Because he's stupid that's why, and yes, we should really go look for her," Julian answered before turning to leave.
They all got up and started following Julian, when Sapphire felt Maddox's breath caress her ear.
"We're not done talking about what happened," he said quietly, his tone determined.
