Phew, it seems like we finally made it to Wallow Ridge after 8 weeks of hell. Even after that, I still don't understand what Kazuma wanted with a kid. It feels like we've been at this journey for years and its only been a couple of months. I guess its because I've been hiking with Ryuk-a.k.a. Mr. Buzzkillington. He never lets me talk to any people, and much less kill anyone. And I barely have any time to train at all! It's such a letdown.

So, get this. When we finally made it there, Ryuk wants to fly solo and leave me to find this kid. This was his mission in the first place! Grr... fine whatever. If I have to find him, so be it. I've been trying to get away from Ryuk, anyway.

Time: 2:03pm, Weather: Cloudy with a 130% chance of rain

I'm just entering the town's bizarre and felt like writing. Theres alot of people here; for it to be threatening to rain, that is. This town seems to have everything including this, larger than life, clock tower they refer to as the Midnight Clocktower. Well, if I'm gonna find anyone, I might as well start here. Speaking of which, Ryuk told me something really interesting about the perp we're looking for. It's seems that he's part of some sort of tribe (I was listening in and out of the conversation) and he possesses a dormant ability to do the same thing i can. Bloodweilding, that is. Now that has me interested. I also found out, finally, that this kid's name is Crow and his parents were assassinated by someone. Not a lame name, though. On another note, searching for one kid in a town this big is a pain, even when I have heightened senses. Just to lighten the load, I summoned some of the blood demons i learned to control and had them help me look for him. I would have found him by now if it wasn't daytime, but thats just my luck...

Time: 2:37pm, Weather: Miraculously not raining yet

I asked around and found out that the orphans from an orphanage a few miles out of town had came here today on sort of field trip. Maybe my perp is with them. I mean, when my mother was killed, I had the option of going to one of those. I'm still glad I didn't. After all, I did become a vampire because of that. My life would have been way more boring than it is now. Still, I need to check that lead...
