Expressions of the Heart

To while away my thoughts

I've told myself that I'm gonna detach from you

But every single day, I can't deny that I'm missing you

I'm thinking about you all of the time

You are even in my dreams

How crazy it is that what I feel for you gets stronger everyday

In my heart I'm still hoping - yes, I will admit

Hoping that someday we two will end up together

But a part of me says that I don't want to settle for anything less

I have a strong conviction that I have to do this

Not for any other reason, but for myself
