Expressions of the Heart

Only for God's Best

And then I realized that the friendship -

     the friendship that we two share

     though it's deep, strong, and founded in the Lord

     and we know each other inside-out;

     comfortable in each other's presence;

     not afraid of voicing our thoughts out,

     however crazy they may be,

     for no one between us judges;

     listening to the issue of each other's life;

     rejoicing in every success;

     and feeling even the hidden pains.

     UNDERSTANDING --- this one word to describe.

Yet despite all these still it isn't enough

For there's one thing that has to be established

One thing that is truly important

And that one thing that is a work in progress in your life.

Hence, for one more time

I say this to myself,

repeating after countless times:

I'M NOT GONNA SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS

But only for GOD's BEST.
