OddPAL1: Waaaa! I wrote this chapter before I discovered that Professor Flitwick's the one who led the Sorting Ceremony, not Snape. NOOOOOO!!!

Whoo... deep breaths, deep breaths... whoo...

This is a fanfic... anything can happen here. So... I'm gonna disregard canon for now.

Furthermore, remember Chapter 17: Secrets Hidden and Revealed? I edited it cuz I just found out that Alchemy's only for sixth years and above, which means... Draco can't take it yet.

Anyways, thank you all for reading and voting my story, and I totally appreciate @VikingOnGamingX ' support. I loved chatting with you! Special thanks again to @strange_addiction_N for your comment. And guys, if you have a problem with any of my chapters, don't hesitate to say so. Sorry I haven't updated in a while.

And now... start the fire, folks! I humbly present... Chapter 22: The Legend of Ted Ifar!

Draco Malfoy

At long last, the train stopped at Hogsmeade station, and all the students made a mad dash to get outside. The rain was pouring endlessly, and we were drenched in great buckets of ice-cold water. Pansy and Daphne ushered the two first years who reluctantly stepped out of the train.

"Firs' years this way!"

"Th-that's Hagrid, r-right?" Astoria asked her sister.

"Yes, but don't be scared, he's not that bad," Daphne told her.

"All righ', you three?" he called out to someone in the crowd.

"He looks like a giant!" The red-haired girl squealed as she hid behind Pansy.

"Firs' years, over here!"

"Follow him now, it's going to be fine," Pansy assured her. "He won't hurt you."

"Astoria, lead the way," Daphne said. "You know what's going to happen." Astoria nodded and took the red-haired girl's hand.

After watching the two disappear in a black blur of first years, we followed the rest of the school along the platform and onto the muddy track leading to the stagecoaches that would take us to Hogwarts. My friends and I fought through the rain and ran inside a stagecoach. As soon as Crabbe shut the door behind him, the coach started to move.

"Hey chaps, reckon the dementors will make another appearance?" Blaise asked.

"There's no need to reckon, Blaise," Pansy said as she nodded outside. "They're right over there." Sure enough, two towering dementors guarded the gates as the coaches rolled in.

"Oh no, here it comes." Bitter cold engulfed us again and we shuddered.

We breathed out a sigh of relief as the carriage sped past them and started on the long drive up to the castle. It swayed to a halt in front of the stone stairs and we all got out. As soon as we did, we caught a bit of gossip in the air.

"Is Harry okay?" a girl named Lavender Brown yelled through the rain.

"I dunno, but I think she'll be all right now," Ginny Weasley replied.

"Why? What happened?" Parvati Patil cried as she ran up.

"The dementors made her faint."

My eyes readily searched the carriages, once again on the hunt for her. Soon, I saw Weasley and Granger come out of one of them. They were followed by a rather pale and wobbly Potter.

"Hey Blaise," I heard Pansy whisper. "I'll bet you ten Knuts Draco'd insult her."

"Oh yeah? I'll give you twenty if you're right, but you'll owe me thirty if he starts fussing over her." I glared at the two of them and decided not to do what they said. I then strode over to Potter and her friends.
