'Meeka wake up' mom whispered softy in my ear.
I was nervous but excited at the same time to start over,because well my past isn't as picture perfect as everyones.
As I opened my eyes I saw this simple but pretty peach painted house with a garage.When I stepped inside the house I was greeted with a fresh lavender smell .I looked around the house and I must say its quite stylish seeing that my mom bought the house with furniture .Mom was a fashion designer so yes we were rich but mom doesn't really like big houses so we always preferred small but big enough for the two of us to have our own space house.As I was walking up the stairs a purple wall caught my eye in one of the rooms ,it was a fairly big room with a built in closet and a perfectly shape window framed seat where I can sit and read my books.I've decided that will be my room.
I walked downstairs to help mom with our belongings but saw that she already brought everything inside. Suddenly I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket of my jean. It was my best friend Layla from my hometown ,I quickly answered.
'Hey love, how are you settling in?'' she beamed.
''Well the house is okay but I'm quite nervous about tomorrow'' I sighed .
''Don't stress over it it'll be fine trust me" she assured me,
''Ok ,ok but I got to go moms calling me downstairs'' I hanged up.
I quickly ran downstairs to see mom plating food out of a ready made meal ,yep mom was never a fan of cooking and I didn't have a problem with ready made meals either so it was a win, win.
''So is the house ok'' mom asked with a nervous expression on her face.
''It's more thank ok mom ,it is amazing'' I assured her
We both ate dinner while talking about my first day at school tomorrow and how I should try to get out of my comfort zone but we both knew I would never, We watched a movie and went our separate ways to our rooms after that .I didn't even bother changing because I was exhausted to say the least ,so I drifted off to sleep with the phrase 'New beginnings'' in my head .
It was definitely the start of something new .
so this is my first story so I've decided to make the first chapter short and simple but yet fun so I hope you liked xoxo
