Ophelia was arrived.

Kat rushed towards the door excited to finally be able to see her friend after a very long time.
She turned the golden knob to see Ophelia's smiling face, a delightful sight!

The two friends hugged and Kat shooed her in:" come in, come in!" " I missed you so so much!" Exclaimed Ophelia. Kat lead her to the purple couch in the cozy living room, cluttered, but in a good way.

Ophelia stared in awe at all the
Lovely plants hanging on the ceiling and the countless pots with flowers.
Katie smiled:"I really like plants." She blushed. The friend giggled.

"So, how have you been? We haven't seen each other for a while!" Kat asked. They talked about this and that for a while when the kettle started whistling annoyingly announcing the tea was ready.
"Oh, I'll get the tea darling." Said Katie getting up in a hurry.

She came back with a silver tray with all the cups and a exaggerated amount of cookies, fruits and  all sorts of goodies. struggling to lay it on the table, Ophelia immediately told her: "Gosh let me help you!" "No, no I don't need help, I'm just a little bit clumsy, as always." The friend smiled while helping despite the response and once they managed placing the tray on the coffee table Ophelia remembered Kat when they where younger:" Ah, I remember at school you dropped your plate full of food at lunch time, and everyone laughed at you!" "Oh please, don't even mention it! People still call me names for that!" They laughed.

Kat took the tea pot and filled the cups, handing one to Ophelia. Sky hopped on the couch purring,  searching for attention."Sky! How long little fur ball." She said stroking the white fluffy cat.

Sipping the tea Ophelia told Katie:" I have very good news I've been waiting to tell you! " Oh. What's that about?" Kat asked. " Recently a famous art buyer is setting up an exhibition in Paris, and he asked me to sell him some of my paintings!" She exclaimed happily. " No way! That's so awesome Ophelia!" Kat nearly screamed. "I know! Finally I'll be able to get more profit, and my art will get known in all the city."

Yes, Katie's friend lived near Paris, out in the french countryside, her home a little village of farmers and shepherds, where she spends all her time on art.

Katie and Ophelia celebrated drinking jasmine tea and eating home made cookies, stroking Sky, who was still searching attention. The time passed by, when Katie suddenly noticed the sun was starting to set. A pleasant breeze came from the open window, you could here the noises coming from the forest, and in the living room the light seemed golden. Ophelia gave the clock on the book shelf a quick look: " I think it's time I should go Katie, it's getting quite late." "Of course, it was such a pleasure seeing you again, we should do this more often!" Said Kat.

They headed at the door and then gave each other the last goodbyes and kisses. (for now.) "Bye bye Katie, I really hope we see each other some what soon!" "Yes, I enjoy when we spend time together, just like the good old days!"

Ophelia walked down the cottages' path, and Katie continued to wave back at her.
