Chapter 4

I woke up the next morning wondering why my alarm didn't ring. I checked the time on my phone, it said '09:37'. "Shit!" i shouted. I was seriously late for school. I ran downstairs to find my mother sitting on the couch drinking wine. Pretty early to be drinking. 'MOM I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!!" I shouted in anger. My mom said calmly, "sweetheart its Saturday." 

"Are you serious mom?" i sighed and plunged onto the couch next to her. "Do I ever drink on weekdays Peyton?" she said with a little grin on her face. "You're right" i replied. We both sat in silence until i said, "Can i um go out later?" "Who are you going with?," she replied. I looked down trying to think of a lie. "Sei" i spat out. "I thought she was leaving today" she said back. "Well um she is only leaving at 5pm so I want to be with her until she leaves. And I will probably be with Nattie again"

"Its okay, you can go, but be back before 6pm. If you are caught up with Nat, you can sleep over but make sure you're back early in the morning" she said. "Sure mom, is there some Nutella left? I'm hungry as hell." i asked. "In the cupboard as usual" she replied.

Two hours later, I was in the bathroom taking a shower 'Kiss me, kiss me, kiss me and tell me that I'll see you again, cause I don't know, if I can let you go' I sang. I opened the door to find Kylie standing there. "Um how may I help?" i asked her. "I have never heard you singing that before. Who is it by?" she asked back. "its Kiss Me by 5 Seconds Of Summer" i replied. "Stupid name" she said. "no, you are stupid, now get out of my way" i spat. I pushed her out of the way and went to my bedroom. "ugh." I said to myself.

About 30 minutes later I was ready. I went downstairs to get a drink and leave. "Mom, I'm leaving. BYE!" i shouted. "BYE PEYTON, BE SAFE!" my mom shouted back

'I know you are going to meet up with King' I received a text from Kylie. i rushed back inside the house and stormed into her room. "What are you talking about Ky? Who has got you into this? I'm not going out with King" i cried out. "Yeah sure you are" she said sarcastically. "You are annoying and I'm leaving to meet up with Sei, she is already waiting for me." i said with a bit of rage. 

I stormed out of the front door. Kylie was actually right, I was going to see King, but Sei and Natasha were coming along. Before I arrived at the park I got a phone call from an unknown number. 

'hello?'                                                                                                                                                                        'Stay away from him Peyton, he is mine' 

The person cut the call... it was a girl's voice. Its just Kristen trying to scare me again like she did last time. 

Someone tapped my shoulder. I squealed and looked back. It was King. "Hey, sorry to scare you" he said. "its okay" I said laughing, "where are Sei and Natasha?" "They couldnt come," he replied. 

"So its only us?" I asked. "yep, pretty much" he replied. We sat on a bench near by and started talking. We talked about love, life and more. 

After an awkward silence, he looked at me and I smiled... Then King leaned in and I bit my lip. He then kissed me. He smiled and I giggled. "Um" I said after I giggled. He took my hand and held it in his.
