As soon as I got to class, Hermonie was sitting with Harry today, "Shit." I said in my mind, I saw an empty table and sat there, it was in front of Hermonie and Harry to the point where I could-, "Hey guys, last night was eventful." I glanced back at them with my forearm resting on the back of the seat. "How so?" Harry said and both of them leaned in closer so I could tell them what happened, then he walked in. "I... I uh." I followed him up the row until he pulled out the chair beside me and sat down. I looked at him, then back at Heromine and Harry, several times, the same for the both of them who looked at me and then the platinum-haired boy. "I see you are back in the class and actually sitting next to me." I look at him and face back at Hermonie and Harry who are just as puzzled as I am, I mouth 'H-E-L-P-M-E" and they both let out a little laugh about with the boy. The whole class period was silent as the night, except the night here wasn't silent, but I liked it. I couldn't really pay attention during that class, one thought led to another thought, then another. Somehow the thoughts started coming in and I started to think about my dad, and how he's doing. What if he is actually sad that I left? What if something happened to him? Maybe he didn't care about me the whole time and me leaving was the best thing that has ever happened to him. My throat burned to that but I bit the inside of my lip, I have to stop thinking of the 'What if"'s.

After that potions class was over, I quickly grabbed my stuff and ran out the door so I didn't have to talk to any of them. Walking to my Defense Against the Dark Arts class I thought about the what-ifs again but once I got to the class and started paying attention, I quickly became okay again. As the day went along, I felt okay for some of it but for the rest, it felt like I was homesick, but home was horrible, maybe I felt guilty that I left. My last period of the day had ended and I walked to the corridor and sat down on the edge of the table, no one happened to be there yet other than a few early birds. Eventually, more and more students rolled into the dining hall, waiting for the feast to breakout. I felt lonely again, I know I didn't fit in but it was because I was new and it wasn't my time yet. Pretty much eating alone, I was left with me and my thoughts again, I looked up to see the platinum-haired boys eyes looking into mine from across the table. He quickly glanced away and talked to his other two friends that were sitting beside him, they were bigger kids but they seemed okay, I guess. When lunch had come to an end, I walked out of the diner hall and Hermonie caught up to me, "Hey! We're you going?" I looked at her and slightly smiled, "I'm just going for a walk, I need to just calm down." She smirked back. "Okay well, have fun and be safe." She skipped away to join back up with Weasley and Potter, I just laughed and continued on my walk. I walked outside the castle and looked around for a spot where I could just sit and be left to myself, then I saw the river from my dreams. I followed a path to the very top of this hill and decided to sit down in the grass, which looked over the river, mountians and the school as the once rising sun, sank. It was nice to be there, it felt like the perfect place to be, to breathe and to think. Eventually the sky turned a dark blue and I decided to head back to the dorms, the walk back was long but well needed. As I got into the Slytherin commons, I decided to look at the books that lay on the shelves surrounding the fireplace. As my finger lay on the back of the spines of the books, looking for the one to pull out, a book did happen to catch my eye, "Hexes and Jinxs". "Interesting," I thought and checked around myself to make sure nobody was around. I pulled out the book and sat on the chair infront of the fireplace and flipped to the first page. "Hexes, very powerful things they are, are malicious wishes placed upon another." I fipped to the next page, "The three curses that are classified as Unforgivable are the Imperous Curse, the Cruciatus Curse, and the Killing Curse." For some odd reason, I was very interested to I decided to keep reading about the curses. "The Imperius Curse.... when cast, the curse places the victium completly under the caster's control..." In my head I was thinking of how one would even come up with these curses but then I remembered now I am in a different time than I was back at home. Hearing footsteps from a far, I close the book for a second, using my finger as a placeholders and slowly looking around, still making sure no one was around to just open the book and continue to read. "The Cruciatus Curse is of torture, inflicting pain on a victim...Very popular for Death Eaters .." What the hell is a Death Eater? I flipped the page and continued to read until I felt hands resting over the back of the chair in which I sat. I looked up to see the platinum-haired boy leaning overtop of the chair balancing his weight with his arms propped up on the chair. "Reading about Hexes and Curses aren't cha?" I closed the book, keeping my eyes on him. "No, that was just for my homework for-uh..." I couldn't think of a class you would need to read that book, he had totally just caught me. "Okay, yeah I was. What does it mean to you?" He chuckled and grabbed the book from my hands, putting it back onto the shelf, "They are very powerful spells. Something new comers shouldn't learn." He looks down onto me. "Who are you to tell me what I can and can not learn?" He walks over to the chair and leans down, putting his hands on both of the arms of the chair. "Someone who knows far more than you do." I look into his eyes and then look away, trying to pretend to be angry but I wasn't. I stood up while he was leaning, which forced him to stand up straight as well and took a step back. "Don't tell me what I can and what I can not. I will decide for that myself." He chuckled as he looked down at the ground and then back at me, "My name is Draco.. Draco Malfoy." I looked up at him, "Nice to meet you, Draco." Then, I started making my way to the girls dorm when he stopped me, cutting me off. "Do I get to know your name?" I smiled, "Nope." I pushed him out of the way and gave him a goodbye wave as I walked to my dorm. He was stupid cute, but I don't want to put my hopes into another man who tears me down.
